Hi! Based on some of the positive information reported on Verafast on this board, I decided to apply and was hired. I believe in trying things out for oneself and realize that things take time to adjust to. Anyway, I need help. I sent my new hire packet back to them over ten days ago and have not heard back, How long before I should expect to hear back? Do they call or email you? How long should I wait without hearing from them before I try to call them? Also, Don't laught at the next question....It is a dumb one. I have a land line home phone and that's the phone I'll be using. When it is time to get set up to make the outbound calls for Verafast, do I somehow plug my phone into the computer or how does it work? I have been a "lurker" for awhile and respect everyone's opinions and also appreciate that you all take your time to help others understand even if they ask "dumb" questions like mine!

It takes like a week to 2 weeks to get the get started email. Then you go to orientaton.
As far as the phone. its done over your internet connection. you enter the phone number for the dialer online, and thats how you get connected its really cool. The training manual will tell you about the dialer software.
Good luck, and I hope it works well, just give it a full month to see if it works out. And make sure you have a tough stomach to resist the comments that you'll get from people you call.

Zaza, to add onto what wonderfullife said, make sure your spam filter is set to allow the email to come through and check your spam folder to make sure you haven't already gotten an answer. A lot of spam filters see VAF email as spam.
She's also right about the customer comments. Please remember that it's not you they're upset with and don't take it personally. Luckily, really nasty ones don't happen that often and I've found that an apology for bothering them settles down most people.

Wonderfullife or anyone else, Is it ok to use a cordless phone? It is the only one I own that has a place to plug in a headset so I am wondering if cordless is ok with Verafast? Thanks..

Yeah its okay with a cordless phone. They don't care as long as you make the calls.
