There is no experience required with court research. All training is provided. The main thing is you have to be SELFMOTIVATED. Court research companies don't have the time toconstantly e-mail and call to see if you are going to work or not. If you decide you don't want to do it, have the decency to tell them and don't say that you have a funeral immediately after accepting the position. 35-40% of all new hires at court research companies use this excuse 3 weeks after accepting the position as why they haven't answered any e-mails, phone calls, and never visited the courthouse.
You also can't sign up expecting to get paid to do nothing. IF you don't work, you don't get paid. It's incentive type pay so you're paid based on your own production. Those who goof off while at the courthouse are obviously not going to earn as much per hour as someone that is persistant in their collections.

There's a complete FAQ section for court researchers on the JB Marketing Services website. The website is http://www.jellybeanservices.com and click on "Careers". Once on the Careers page, click on court researchers.

The FAQ applies to court research in general.
