Hi
I work for a very successful event planner in CT. I just started about two months ago and love it. The hours and weekends are tough but the job itself is so much fun but I miss my daughter.
Anyway this question is for owners for event planning businesses I have a few questions....

1.Do you pay your employees from the time they leave their house on the day of installs until they get home? We go all over the tri state area and usually installsare Friday and Saturday.
2. Do you pay your employees gas on the day of the installs?
Trouble is I have found my dream job but I work part time except on weekends and I am an hour each way to work.
I have a very generous boss and I am embarrassed to ask the question but also need to make sure it is worth my while and time to continue working for her.

If you worked in an office what would your commute time be? Would you ask your boss to pay you to drive to and from work? The answer is probably no. If you are going a long distance maybe, but I think still no.
