Happy October! I'm brainstorming on how to get MORE bookings today. Here are a few of my ideas, I have about 1,000 more rolling around in my brain though.</font> What have all of you been doing?</font></font>
(Sorry I couldn't help be annoying with festive Halloween colors smileys/smiley10.gif)
~ Post catalogs in my husband's break room at work
~Call past hostesses and offer an extra incentive for booking a NEW
format party... perhaps even as crazy as double hostess benefits -
it'll suck out a little profit, but I know I'll get a few extra
bookings at that party.
~Mail a postcard to all party attendees who did not book. Somthing like
"Dear ...... Thanks for attending ......'s party! If you would like to
have a party or even just a Sampler Party, you can earn free products!
Please feel free to give me a call if you need anything and thank you
so much for your order! p.s. [hostess] earned $____ in free product at
her party."
~Call at least two potential hostesses every evening.

Oh, I love the postcard idea. I use it in a thank you letter to hostess with the line, "if you had been the designer at your party you would have earned________" I have never thought of it for guests into hostesses.

With all of the Dr. and Dentist visits I've had for the kids lately I'm considering leaving some UB Catalogs in the waiting room. There is always a lack of good magazines and I'm sure people would love to see them and possibly pick one up.
I'm also thinking about work out places like Curves and other things to add a prize for new members if they just take the personality test online. This allows me to get them to look at the site and get into it even if they don't win. I'll let you know how it goes...
Also some of those places get a bit sweaty so a warmer in the dressing room wouldn't hurt...

I decided that I am going to do something special for Black Friday!
I am working on a flyer for a combination Mystery Hostess, Open House, and Make & Take party at my house on Black Friday.
All are invited family, friends, customers, neighbors etc to take part in this holiday shopping kick off. No lines of traffic to deal with, No busy malls to have to walk through, No getting up before day break to get in on all the specials.
I will be having "special" black friday specials, door prizes, special gift for all those that book a party and of course food!
