Hi Ladies-
I am interested in finding out more about Barefoot Books. What has your experience been with this company - good or bad? How has your child(ren) grown with the use of these books?
I am very interested in using these books with the girls I nanny for. One is 7 months and the other is almost 3 and a half.

Sorry that no one here responded right away. And although I responded to you in the main party forum where you also posted, I will answer here, as well, in hopes it can also help someone, too.
First, I thank you for your interest in Barefoot Books!
Barefoot Books is a small publishing company that was started 15yrs ago by two mothers who felt there was a void in children's books that provided quality stories with beautiful illustrations while promoting about a variety of cultures.
They learned early on that they didn't have the money to compete against the big publishing giants for the valuable shelf space at big chain bookstores and were going to have to be creative in how they will get their books seen and into the hands of the public. Direct sales through their stallholder program began. With the growth of online shopping, they also opened up their stallholder program as an affliliate program where you can join for free and just promote Barefoot Books through the use of website banners and buttons which can be a helpful way for schools and nonprofits to earn additional income (but individuals can also take advantage of this too)
Barefoot Books has garnered many awards and praise for the quality of their children's books. I know both my daughter and I love reading them and I love giving them as gifts. And with the ages that you site, Barefoot Books are a pleasure to read and look it for their ages. Their music CDs that accompany some of their books are also great and lots of fun.
