Organization:
Healthsense, Inc. is based in Mendota Heights and is a leading supplier
of electronic health monitoring systems for senior living communities
and home and community based services. These systems protect at-risk
individuals and allow them to live more independently.
Healthsense Integrated Solutions include: eNeighbor automatic personal
emergency response system, Activities of Daily Living monitoring, Wi-Fi
wireless nurse call, fall detection, wander management, campus
security, and campus wide Wi-Fi communication.
Position:
The Customer Response Center Representative will respond to telephone
calls for assistance that are originated by Healthsense customers.
These calls are generated by in-home electronic monitors that alert the
response center staff if a customer may be in need of assistance. The
successful candidate will have the ability to follow well documented
procedures when responding to these calls.
The position requires the ability to follow instructions, interpret
caller information from a computer display, and respond in the
appropriate manner. Candidates must be able to communicate clearly with
elderly people and maintain a positive attitude. Experience in a care
giving capacity is highly preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responds to telephone call alerts for assistance.
• Interprets data on computer to determine how to respond to telephone alert calls.
• Places telephone calls to customers to verify their well being and dispatch assistance if required.
• Documents actions taken from telephone alert calls on computer.
• Performs additional tasks as required.
• Reports to Customer Response Center Supervisor.
Qualifications:
• Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures regarding action steps in responding to alerts.
• Ability to communicate clearly over the telephone
• Ability to operate a personal computer
• Ability to send and receive email using Microsoft Outlook
• Skills in using Microsoft Office applications is an advantage (Word and Excel)
• Ability to keep a positive, caring attitude with elderly customers
