Okay ladies, I have decided to join Mia Bella. I haven't decided what sponsor I will be going with. I spoke on the phone with Kitt yesterday and felt really good about our conversation, but she urged me to speak with a couple others before I decided on who to go with. This is my question. What do you primarily focus on with your business? I am interested in fundraising and establishing a residual income. Another question I have is what are the start up costs other than the 39.99? My last question is if I were your brand new sign up how would you suggest I go about getting 5 recruits and making $1500 in my first 90 days?

Ever since I joined Mia Bella last June - it was and is my first focus to recruit. I had my first 5 join in one month - and since then I have had a steady number joining my team each month.


There are not any start up costs other than the $39.95. You may want to spend $15 on a pack of 100 brochures, but thats it. Nothing else is required to start you business. How cool is that?? Your own bizfor $39.95???


I would suggest you getting your first 5 sign-ups by doing lots of advertising and sharing your business with EVERYONE who may be interested. You have to talk about it and share it to get it "out there". It may be diffucult to earn $1500 in 90 days from you downline - but its definitely possible by doing retailing.

Send flyers about fundraising to schools, churches, daycares, and other non-profit organizations. Put a small ad in your paper, get involved in message boards, give samples to everyone. And most of all get excited about this opportunity!!!!smileys/smiley4.gifExcitement sells!!!

Hi Dana.


For fundraisers you'll need a votive sample for each appointment you set and you'll need to put them in tight fitting votive holders. Ballpark for that is $1.50. $1 for the votive and ~.50 for the holder. (You can getthose at walmart or craft store.)


Then you'll need labels for the votive and brochures and some printer paper. Less than $10 for the paper products. You'll be printing the info from the files and adding your contact info.

I am also a new recruit, but I thoughtI would give you some input as far as whatI would suggest to a new recruit. You have the right idea as I can tell, because you have goals. Getting 5 recruits is aabsolutely possible in 90 days. Take some sample pacs with you wherever you go..grocery store, drug store, salon, school activities. You never know who you will run into that you can share with. My sponser told me that he has gotten alot of recruits from leaving samples with vendors or shop ownerswho are selling products that would be complimented bythe candles. Now his goal is not to simply sell his candles there, but encourage them to sign up so they can sell them for themselves..and they both win. That is my plan as well. The very best thing you can do is get the candle in front of people..it will sell itself. I do wish you luck, and I know you will do well. I already have one recruit ready to sign up any day..I know you can do it too!!

Dana, did you know that when our company started, the two men Charlie and Bobby went out and sold i think like 60,000 worth of candles in under 3 months? Now.....if 2 men can do this....... lol smileys/smiley36.gif


My team has access to a wonderful "candle targeted" lead campaign and i have recruited most of my gals from there!So i know it can be done. Also, i had my first home/office parties and they each brought me in more than $200 profit each, so if you have a couple people who would host a party, there ya go!!!


If you really want to create your income, You can. This business is limitless in my opinion!!!

Here are some things I would recommend getting started with.


First, if at all possible, get signed up with the Fast Start Pack. This has everything you need to get your business started and get you well on the way to earning that $1500 in 3 months. It can be done - I did it.


Also, at very least, make sure you get 3 dozen votives, craft type ziplock bags from a craft store, business cards (the company has BEAUTIFUL ones or even vistaprint.com) and brochures.


You'll make small, scent samples from the votives and now you are prepared to "smell and sell" your business every where you go, pass out brochures and cards, and do some mailings to interested parties.


You'll be coached on all of this once you get started. The key is to get started, and take advantage of the January through May peak business building season!

Someone mentioned the Fast Start Pack. I didn't see anything about that on the website. I saw the sample bag but I don't think that is the same thing. Or is it? What is included in the fast start pack? I was also wondering about the billing. I would like to open a seperate account for this, but I don't want to wait for the card to get here to sign up. Could I sign up and then switch billing over to another card?

Just wanted to add there is a sample pack you can get too. You can access the information via anyones scent team site..and click the join now button at the top, this does not committ you to them, but it will let you see the 3 diff packs available.
