I have to share this story, I'm still in shock...
When I joined Arbonne I didn't have a very big warm market but still thought how this opportunity would bless their lives. My sister seemed so closed to anything to do with Arbonne but came to a class anyway to support me. After being at the class & talking with her regular doctor, she decided to try the Prolief. She had an allergic reaction to it! Needless to say, this didn't improve her outlook. I did gently remind her that just because you can't take Excedrin doen't mean that you quit shopping at WalMart. I told her I was fine with her not being into it the way I am and didn't really expect her to be or honestly that she would ever buy or use the products. I told her it was okay though because the success of my business did not depend on her buying the products. I felt like I was totally letting her off the hook.
Yesterday she calls to tell me she has a DR she wants me to talk to about Arbonne! I was floored. He is a homeopathic guy & as he was talking to her, she asked if he had ever heard of Arbonne. She said she couldn't even believe it came out of her mouth! He had not & she told him a bit about it and he said he would have to check into it. Of course I wasn't going to let that fall to chance so I followed up today & have an appointment with the office manager on Monday! We will schedule a time with the doc after that. She shared that she had heard of the products & knows our company is exploding. She has seen our products at medical seminars in the past but doesn't have a direct contact.
The point is that even though folks may not appear to be receptive, they are listening. My sister said "You didn't even think I was listening did you?" I told her I knew she was listening that's why I keep talking, I just didn't think she was being open minded. SHe gave me the number for another of her docs. I told her tha t if either of them sign up, we'll have to sign her up so that she can get that thank you check.smileys/smiley2.gifEdited by: Kiana's Mom

That's awesome!
People are always listening...I can tell every time I have lunch with a friend or anything...they don't want to sound to interested but I can tell that they really are wondering if this is "working" for me. It's really fun...because it is!

Great story Teresa! I know I have many family and friends who will jump on board once I reach RVP. I think they are standing by and seeing what this "arbonne thing" turns into!

Teresa,
What a great story! GOOD LUCK signing them on.
I agree with the others. People are on the side lines waiting to see what happens. However, in the past week, I've had two friends ask me a little more about Arbonne. One has now signed on and the other is still trying to see if this is going to be right for her. What a departure from their earlier reactions...............
