I was on a Conference call with someone in the Stacy Upton line and she was talking about a woman in NY started in Arbonne and became an RVP in 90 days! Anybody know who she's talking about, better yet, what's her secret, lol

I think that must be who my NVP was talking about a few months ago... I don't know her name but she talked to a bunch of people EVERY day about the business- I'm thinking like 10? Imagine talking to 10 people each and every day for an entire month? that's 300people!

Hi
I just started with Arbonne. I wanted to find out if I can advertise my website online or talk to leads that I have. I purchased leads for my other business and I have a lot of women leads as well.
I would love to reach RVP at least in 6 months. It will be awesome.
Thanks
You can PM me

that's crazy!
I did hear a story tonight about someone who for the first 7 months of her business sold everything at 35% off. She made nothing but she built up to AM really fast because of her volume....Edited by: cindi8d

I am in NY. My NVP, Sasha Ferrucci signed on in January 2005 and promoted to RVPJune 1, 2005. She promoted NVP on October 1st, 2005. Her sister signed on in mid April, 2005 and promoted to RVPin July 2005.
Key to success: They BOTH signed on their best friends and their best friends friends. So, they immediately started with 3 or 4 people working. They all bought $2500 to start, as we work mostly on the home party network. It's a simple as that. They had their friends on board and that is how they promoted. THEY WERE IN ACTION.
They stress that you need to find 4 fast, and that they did.
I signed on at the very end of March 2005 and Sasha was an AM. She went into qualification for RVP April 1st.
While this is all fine and dandy, you need to understand that this is not NORMAL. It would be great if we all did it that way, but as I was talking to Sasha the other day, she made a very good point. She was going so quickly that she did not have time to learn everything. She just jumped in and went for it. She pointed out that even though I am an AM, I probably have more knowledge on Arbonne, how the system works, etc. She did not have the benefit that I have in taking the time to learn everything.
Believe me, it is sweet that she made it so quickly, but there are downsides to everything.
I believe she and her sister are probably the ones you are referring to, although there have been a few others that have popped up that way in the last few months as well.
Oh, and they PROBABLY were talking to 10 new people about the business every day. Sasha had 3 jobs at the time....and she had presentations booked pretty much every single night!
You can listen to Sasha's 5 minute opportunity call: # 641-297-4900 ACCESS CODE 5304
PS. I may have the exact months of the promotions off a little. Everything has become such a fog.

I know they are doing the drop off technique.
If you have 8 sets out a week diligintly - then yes, you will move up fast.
Yes, friends help - but of course, we all talk to our friends first....don't we? I know I did.
(and still have a lot left to talk to) LOL
Building deep is what is making a huge difference as well.
When I first started I was like, I can do this in less than a year - well I put way to much stress on myself. Even if it takes longer, who cares. If I were to be hired by someone today and they told me if you do this, this and this you can be making _$$$$$$$$$$$$$_ in 3 years. Would I do it - you bet! smileys/smiley4.gif
And I will!!
That's my 2 cents. I am moving up fast, but have decided I cannot run a marathon and have sanity.smileys/smiley36.gifI am building my business a little everyday - with sanity in my life.smileys/smiley36.gif

They did not start with REsults, they started with parties. We just started with REsults about 3 months ago. So, no they were not doing the drop off technique.
Building wide and deep is important, and that is exactly what they did. Sasha signed on her best friend and her best friend signed on her friend. One leg going. Then Sasha signed on a bunch others and bam. Sasha's sister Karla signed on her best friend and her best friend signed on 4 of her sisters...bam. Sasha (NVP)has1 RVP and 1 ERVP direct to her, her sister and her best friend. Her sister(ERVP) has one ERVP direct to her.
Where did you hear that they were doing REsults? I know for a fact that they were not. Unless you are thinking of someone else?
The other thing is that we don't use sets in our Nation...we use samples ONLY for REsults.Edited by: myarbonne

Why do you only use samples in your nation? Doesn't that defeat the purpose...I thought the way people who use the drop off were so successful so quickly was by encouraging their people to purchase 6-12 kits. That gives you a couple thousand in volume right there.

as i said, we do mostly in home presentations. we only use samples because it is not recommended to use the products solely. plus, we have had complaints from people...asking if the sets were used and then refusing to take them due to possible contamination issues.
my nvp believes that eventually it will all turn to samples.
plus, we aren't supposed to front-load.

OHHHH - I said "they" - I'm like smileys/smiley5.gifwhy is she quoting me.
This is what WE are doing - not sure if it's the same nation or not.
We use the sets - not samples. Works well. I've never gotten one back.smileys/smiley2.gif
I think we ALL just need to take what we like and leave the rest.
What works for some may not work for someone else.
I do it this way.

It was my understanding that it wasn't frontloading because folks are actually using the sets as demos. Not trying to debate, just sharing what I have heard/read.
Personally, I use both depending on how well I know someone or how far away they are. I have to say that I have had folks sign up both ways. I have received more dramatic expressions of loss when folks return the sets. The other day my sister in law had to go into another part of the house to get the set & you could hear her despairing all through the house, "NO NO NO! I don't believe I have to give it back!!!!" It was hilarious! Fortunately I keep 1 on hand to immediately give to the folks who purchase it so they don't have to wait. As we put the order in, I simply take the new one when it arrives.

I live in the same town as the person you are referring to, although I am not in her successline. Her name is Lisa DeMayo. I will probably attend her car presentation next month so that I can hear straight from her mouth how she did it. She actually did it in 75 days. She is a pharmaceutical rep so I think it had something to do with her approach with doctor's offices, but don't quote me on that. If you are interested in how to approach professional offices, NVP Lynn Puana did a great Learn and Burn about it last month.
But it's very simple how you get to RVP in 90 days. Not so easy to do. But it is just simple mathematics. It's just like the Napkin Presentations in "The 45 Second Presentation that will Change Your Life" by Don Failla. (Read it if you haven't already). You start with 4 people who will buy the Results Set (which includes 4 RE9 sets, the gold bags and samples)and the Essentials Sets (for themselves). This is $1567 retail. It's not front loading because the RE9 sets will be used for drop offs. So including yourself, you have 5 people in your start month putting in $1567personal volumewhich equals $7835 group volume. This would make you a DM in your first month.(Each month, everyone has to put in the $1500 personal volume for thisto work.)The second month, your 4 each sign up 4 with the same volume. So, you have 16 people with $1567 personal volume, which totals $25072.Now you're an Area in your second month. In your third month, those 16 people would each find 4. So, you now have 64 people putting in $1567 personal volume which equals $100,288. Now you're on RVP in your third month. Definitely not easy because finding those four who are willing to put in the investment to get their four sets to use for drop offs is the hard part. But, it's not impossible. Working this system, even if it took a couple more months, it would be worth all the hard work.

I appreciate your opinion - I know there are a lot of success stories out there, but don't see how it will make or break me. I emailed my upline to find out - but it's not like I'm going to be any different knowing.

I'd love to know the answer to that myself!! Finding 4 in one month willing to make that kind of investment -- you gotta have something that you are saying that hooks them right then and there -- and they've got to be a wealthy audience too

You are entitled to your opinion, and it may be different in your Nation. I was at a training in Kentucky (ACT) and in one of the seminars they always said you should know who your DM, AM, RVP, and NVP are, which in turn you would be able to find out what Nation you are in. That is why I asked.

It is hit or miss I think. What they did was they got themselves out there and offered it to anyone and everyone.

Yes, it is a numbers game. Everything is. Some folks are interested but don't buy now, some are not interested at all, some are interested & buy a little at a time, some are interested and buy everything, some are interested in only the products & not the biz, some are interested in both, etc.
There is abasic truth in anything you do: The more people you expose to your idea, business, product, or way of life, the better your odds of finding someone else who feels or thinks the same way you do. The quicker (& more often) you expose that same idea, business, product, or way of life the quicker you will find someone else. You have to get out of your house, out of your comfort zone, out into interaction with people, many times people that you would not normally have contact with. Look for the opportunities, they are there. Ask for referrals, this is one of the keys to growing your business! There was a very good learn & burn on building a referral businees, check the archives.

All of this "do it quick" stuff is making Arbonne sound alot like Mary Kay. Sorry, but it does and it angers me. Trying to get people to spend almost $1500+ up front for RE9 setsis no different than Mary Kay and their inventory pitch. The RE9 sets are for sale on eBay for way less than the regular consultant discount at times (along with other Arbonne stuff). Could it be that these are RE9 sets that new consultants were talked into purchasing, things didn't work out, and now they are popping up on eBay? I guess I'm a little disappointed and I thought Arbonne was going to be different - I was told this was a company that you took 4 or more years to build up. I guess I was wrong and the CD I listened to was a bunch of hooey, the CD even said this is not a get rich quick scheme. I wish I would have found the Arbonne discussion site at http://www.fantasticskincare.com/before I signed up. Don't you people realize that when you spend the $1500+ for the RE9 sets that you are keeping someone in their car and pumping up their commissioncheck? Don't go into debt whatever you do to help someone meet their monthly quota!!!!

Don't you people realize that when you spend the $1500+ for the RE9 sets that you are keeping someone in their car and pumping up their commissioncheck? Don't go into debt whatever you do to help someone meet their monthly quota!!!!
Willow- what are you talking about? I understand what you are saying, but I am notsure thatYOU understand what you aresaying.
Arbonne has an approach called REsults. With that what we do is drop off kits to people to try. Most of the time the person wants to buy a kit or sign on to do the same. This is not a get rich quick scheme.
As for the people selling on ebay. Whoever is doing it, is doing so against Arbonnepolicy and procedures. I for one know that someone in my area contacted me not too long ago to see if I wouldcut them a deal iftheypurchased 12 Re9 sets. Of course, it sounded a bit strange to me, butpeople aren't stupid. Who wouldn't jump at the chance of selling 12 Re9 sets? Anyway, my point is, I ended upinvoicing the person through paypal...because I have a paypal account for ebay (I don't sell on ebay)AND low and behold, she was already auser...and Ididsearch herID on ebay and guess what- she was selling Arbonne. I don't know if she was/is a consultant,or if she is just a person trying to make money...either way, the deal didn't go through. SO- my point with this is that NOT EVERYONE is selling on ebay because they have inventorystocked up. Some people are just doing it to do it.
Finally- NO ONE forces ANYONE to purchase something they don't want to purchase. It is up to the individual signing on. I think everyone is capable of making their own decisions.
Before you go saying that this is like MK or that it IS a get rich quick scheme, perhaps you should do some research. There are many of us building our business the RIGHT way...especially most of us here.

Yes, I agree. This is not a get rich quick scheme! You can startyour Arbonne business for $29 plus tax and shipping. How many samples, business aids, etc are up to your individual discretion. Obviously the more you have available, the quicker you may get to your goal. I actually heard of someone who started with just her $29 which included her catalogue and she made it to AM very quickly through her enthusiasm and ability to talk to everyone she met.
I am not sure where the idea that this is a get rich quick scheme came from. Are you saying that you were forced to spend $1500 Willow? I'm sorry, I am confused...smileys/smiley5.gif
