I just got my first phone interview today and am anxiously waiting for the email with the packet of information that I am supposed to send back in. First off, how long does it take to get that email? Secondly, I've read a lot on this forum but don't quite understand the pay system... how do you get paid per call? What counts for actual money and what doesn't? I guess hangups don't? What is this coding I'm hearing about also? If you can't tell I'm brand new so lots of questions. Thank you to all who can help!!! I'm hoping this works out for me, I'm going to be a first time mommy by November 1st, that is my due date :) My boyfriend makes enough money to cover bills but we really need more to be comfy. Besides, I want to contribute and feel useful and have some pull when it comes to finances around here! I had three jobs outside the home before I got pregnant but have not worked since I found out due to having 3 previous miscarriages and being high risk for this pregnancy.

1) it took me oneday to get the email.
2) the pay system is by credits, you get paid for every decisionable contact meaning you've talked to them and are able to code it, which means a yes or no on the paper offer in the beginning.
3) things you do not get paid for: Answering machines, you might have a lot of these, hang ups, no english, do not call requests, not home, not available. You do get paid for disconnected numbers, and if its a fax number.
4) Pay is very variable, you will definitely make extra money you might make 3 dollars per hour, and you might make 20 per hour, it depends on the day, and every day is different. Just hang in there, because you will get at least 100 a week, if not 400.
5) You also learn more calls, that will increase your earning potential. Just say this to yourself, I don't get paid, unless the company does.
Hope this helps, I tried to put every view on the board here in this email.

aw, thanks! that was pretty informative. i got my email already and read through all the stuff. i just hope i make something for putting the effort in. its not easy to sit in a chair for 3 or 4 hours at a time these days, it hurts! lol. i do not know what i am having, the little bugger refused to show at my 'big ultrasound'. id like to think its a girl, i have that feeling anyway, but i could be dead wrong. id enjoy a girl for my first and id also like to see my boyfriend dressing a lil girl and doing her hair, it would melt me. he would be very protective over a girl too. but we will see. for now, i just want two things: for it to be OUT lol, and healthy of course.

Yeah, I know what you mean on the healthy part. You are going to have frustrating days with the calls, but also incredible hours where you get lots of credits, just don't log out because it seems like you're getting no credits. I have stuck it out in those times, and made more money. It all evens out. I wish you the best of luck. Just don't take anything too personally on the calls.
