I want to place an ad in my local paper for the business opportunity but I want something different than what's in the Roadmap to Success. Has anyone written an ad that was really successful for them that they're willing to share?

I wrote one in our local paper, but I need to re-word it because people did not realise that it was a commission based business opportunity. I believe it said


Candle Distributors needed for a new home based gourmet candle company in the area........contact Debra at......


I had it run only a week just to see what happened, but it should be in at least 3 weeks for a weekly paper and at least 2 weeks for a daily paper from what I read. People will see it 2 or 3 times before they will respond to an add. I was thinking of trying it again.


I wrote up my own press release and the local paper published it FREE for me with my pictureand everything - A lot of people saw it and mentioned it. It was free so why not??It really helpedput the name out there becausepeople here have never heard of it.
