I am sure I am not the first one to think of this. But I bought the little plastic sample bags last night to grate my candles in. I am going to punch a small hole in the bag just to get a ribbon through to make a sachet. They can hang it in their car for an ongoing scent. As long as they aren't in Florida with 80* so it can melt. smileys/smiley2.gif

I was warned my my 12 year old that I can't grate until she gets home today! This is HER job too!

You can also grind up the votives and use as a carpet powder. Your house will smell AWESOME!

Put some in a tealight warmer too.

Soo many ideas!!!!!

Great idea with the ribbon hanger, Jody!

I always make scent samples large enough to use in a melt warmer. I use
the votive label template from our back office and personalize it with my
info and some details about the benefits of our unique blend candles.
Then, below the Mia Bella logo and the scent name, I type in:
Enjoy me in your melt warmer or as a car air freshener!"

One gal emailed me a month later to tell me it is the BEST air freshener
she's ever had for her car- she can smell it outside the door before she
opens it!

I'm going to have to borrow your ribbon hanger idea- just TOO cute!

Keep those great ideas coming. smileys/smiley20.gif

Oh, and let your DD know that I will hire her to be my scent grating
helper, too!LOL! smileys/smiley36.gif

Happy Tuesday Ladies!

Yes, people love scent samples. They are such a great marketing tool.

Tracey, I was wondering how using it for a carpet power works. I remembered seeing that before on the board and was thinking about doing that on my carpet today (my dog is not helping with keeping my carpet smelling lovely); but I couldn't remember how to do it. Do I sprinkle it directly on the carpet and then vacuum it up, do you put it in the vacuum somehow. Please let me know. My carpet needs that Mia Bella touch. :)

Thanks so much.

I sprinkle mine on the floor and then vaccum it so the air circulates the scent...just me though!

Great ideas everyonesmileys/smiley32.gif. I will have to try the carpet thing - I head about putting them inside the vacuum bag, but that is easiest.

I have carpet in the kids bathroom - enough said smileys/smiley36.gif

I don't put it in the vaccuum cleaner...too much trouble! I just sprinkle it on the carpet, let sit for a few minutes then vaccuum up.

Funny story here...my belt broke on the vaccuum cleaner. Well hubby and a co-worker weretrying to fix it. (there is an aggie joke in there I promise ya!) LOL!

Anyway, the co-worker, Clint, said, "that's the best smelling dirt I have ever smelled." Dave died laughing and told him how I grind up the candles and put on the carpet. TOO FUNNY! I have good smelling DIRT!!!!!!!!!!! ROFL!!!!!!

sweet orange and chili pepper is what i use, when people smell it they are intrigued versus reg scents like vanilla etc. my personal opinion :)
