Hi all,
I'm a junior graphic/web designer and is currently trying to find work experience. I finished college in April with an AA and I just can't find any work in the small town I am in. My husband and I have been thinking of moving. But I thought I would try freelancing, craiglist isn't helping at all. There are just so many people bidding on projects a newbie doesn't stand a chance. I've seen some freelance sites, and you have to bid? How does that work?
I've done a lot of volunteering, but I need some cash coming in. Any suggestions?

First of all I would suggest including your URL in your signature always when you post. People will check you out and the more so the easier you make it for them.

You might try Elance, that is where I got my start, and continue to get work there all the time. Good luck!
