Hey guys, I was thinking about accepting credit cards with my Mia Bella business. So far all my research has made it seem expensive. Does anyone here already do this and have some helpful tips? I thought this could help.
Thanks for your thoughts!

I accept credit card payments through PayPal. I just send an e-mail invoice which they can pay using their credit card.
For "in person" type of payment processing, such as at a craft show, I've not done that but I'm sure others here have and can input.

Pay pal also has a program when you are away from email too, but there are extra fees. Before Christmas there was one listed in the company back office message board that seemed affordable, but it was a promotion discount. I am not sure what they charge now. It seems more expensive than theextra sales I would get with one at this time.
I think I will be looking again soon becauseone seems to carry checkbooks or cash with them.
I am crossing my fingers that with the retail page they are working on for us in the future (on the corporate site) perhaps we will be able tojust enter it in thatway, let's hope so.

There is also www.propay.com (http://www.propay.com) which you can call in the cc numbers with a certain package you buy. I have not used them but know some who have and they aren't to bad priced if you plan on doing alot of cc orders.

Hi Kori,
I have used Paypal for all of my credit cards transactions but am thinking of switching to Propay. Either one would be wonderful to you to use.
Many Blessings,
Natalie

If you are a Costco member, they have a merchant account service that looks pretty reasonable. I have had an account for years, and it is expensive. I am looking at making the Costco switch myself.
Propay has offered a great option for many.
