Hi Ladies,


I have a question and I was wondering what you thought. As you can see I am in the Romance Business. I do LOVE It. I have a great growing team and am making nice money.


For all my hostess's I give them a Love Package. I have been giving little t-lights in the package with other romance items. What do you think of me giving them one of my Mia Votives with my two business cards, one for Romance and one for Candles? Do you think this will be conflicting?


I want to keep both business's and I am going to let Mia take a course of it's own. Not totally pushing it but enjoying my candle of the month etc.


Any Suggestions will be great. Thanks!

Good idea, perhaps instead of a business card, simply buy a cheap votive holder and place a sticker on the bottom with your name and re-order or candle club info, this I think you can pull off without being a conflict.As long as it is a gift, then you aren't selling at the same time which I think corporate does not want us to do.

I don't personally see anything wrong with providing them with votives as gifts! I would put one of them in a snug fitting votive holder because not everyone has them - and by giving them one, it will show how long a simple votive will burn, and the scent.


Pick candles that will enhance the "mood" and run with it! They may want to very well get some more candles from you in addition to your romance goodies to keep that "mood" flowing in their homesmileys/smiley2.gif

Debra I believe you are correct, from what I've read in the Policies and Procedures, (and from what I'm remembering without going back to read it again), they do not want you to display our products or opportunity for sale alongside another direct sale or mlm company's products (that would also be sold by you). There may be more to the P&P and other products but that's pretty much it in a nutshell. Understandably so. Gift giving is not mentioned to my recollection. Edited by: dreamakr36

It would definately be a gift. In their Love Package. I will see if I can find some cheap holders. 2 for a $1 or so. I think the $ store has them.

I might give them a jar and let them choose their scent out of a case. I find people absolutely love the Sweet Orange and Chili Pepper. You could also choose some to have that are romantic, like the Angel Wings, French Vanilla...... so many!!!

I love your idea. I would do as Debra has suggested with the sticker on the bottom. That way the two business are not competing with one other. I really love how you are incorporating Mia Bella in your current business. You are going to do will with it!
