...to partner with. I make handmade wedding invitations and other personalized wedding stationary (placecard, programs, menus, etc).
I currently offer a discount and reward to those wedding planners/couples that work with me.
For the wedding planners, if any of their clients order their invitations through me they receive $25 -- the couple receives an additional 5% discount on top of all the other discounts I offer!
If anyone is interested in teaming up, let me know! Check out my websites for examples of my work, but I would be more than happy to send you a sample.

Hey Jen,
I just wanted to let you know that most planners won't (and shouldn't want) the $25. They consider it kickbacks and not ethical (I'm a member of another board that's mostly planners and this type of thing has been a hot topic of discussion at times).
Good luck with your business. Your invitations are lovely.

Oh my gosh, I didn't even think of it in that way! I am going to immediately stop this portion of my program with planners. I am assuming it is ok to still offer a discount to their clients?
I am sorry if this caused problems for anyone, I feel very embarrassed!

Don't feel embarrassed- I didn't know either until I joined that board I mentioned (it's www.i-wed.org (http://www.i-wed.org)). You can definitely offer discounts to their clients though :)
I'd recommend starting in your area though- it's really hard to get in with planners as a lot of them used to be stationers so still offer that service, or they've been around long enough to already have their lists. Doesn't mean it's impossible, but it's hard to get that foot in the door!
