Hey ladies! I am one of you now! The home office put me in touch w/a lady in my area, or territory, I guess I should say, because my area is very new to Seriesse. (that can be a good thing!!)

I was so torn between Seriesse and another fantastic company! I think the minimal out of pocket cost and the easiness of the whole company is what sold me. I love the product videos of each item!

I have to admit, I am SO in love w/the Essential Green tea drops! I can't get enough! I love that each small bottle makes 240 cups of tea! I just use it in my bottled water! Also started the Green Tea Plus for weight loss, energy, and optimal workouts! Honestly, I feel fantastic! I am all about Green Tea now, love it!

Anyway, just wanted to say that I really appreciate all your great posts here, it very much helped in my decision to join!smileys/smiley4.gif

Congrats on your new business!! I'm not a rep (yet!) but I started using alot of Seriesse's products about a month or so ago and I LOVE everything! Very smart and well thought out product line. I love that they focus on beauty and health from the inside out.

Best wishes!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley27.gif

Congratulations!! You made a great choice!

Are you using the skin care yet? You're going to LOVE what these products do for your skin. As I've posted many, many times, these skin care line really did transform my skin. Just yesterday, clients stopped in at the law office (my f/t job) who I haven't seen in awhile. We were talking about getting older, how everything starts to fall apart, things like that, when they said "oh what would you know, you're still a pup" I told them I'll be 42 this month & they didn't believe me!!! They honestly thought I was in my mid-late 20s!!! I had to show them my license! But this happens frequently- not ONE person ever guessed my age to be anywhere near what it actually is. and it's NOT genetic!! I really do look better now at 42 than I did at 25- that's amazing to me.

I don't know many people who have used the same skin care product line for 14 years- w/o ever changing, not ONCE- nevermind continue to see results after all that time. Seriesse skin care products are really like no other.

Welcome aboard & you know your Seriesse family is always here to help you out!

WISHING YOU LOTS OF SUCCESS,
Cyndi

Thank you ladies, I so much appreciate your posts and well wishes!!

2 of my daughters have acne and so I bought them the Continuously Clear line and at first, I thought, this isn't working, but I realized it brought all the impurities out first and then all of a sudden, they both had CLEAR beautiful skin. Now, my older daughter, 21, uses just the Dry-lo and that is all she needs, this works better than the prescription she had!

I am using the C-essentials line w/the Super C complex supplements. Love it very much! I wish though like Cyndi, that I would have started w/it years ago, before I got into my 40's. (really though, I am 29. ha,ha!) I also have very dry skin and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Olive Oil line! That made a dramatic difference over night! Love the Instatox too!

Cyndi, what are you using? Ever use the Creamerum? How great it is that you are asked to prove your age!! That would so make my day!! I bet you look fantastic! That right there is GREAT testimony!

Emmacmc-good luck to you too! :)

sillymom-

It doesn't matter when you start using the products, just that you start using them!! As you continue to use the products every day, you WILL see years disappear. You are definitely using the right products by using the C Essentials line &taking the skin supplements. In case you didn't know, Olive Oil products can be layered over any other products- they don't have to be used alone.

Right now, I alternate the C cleanser & the A cleanser, I'm using S.I. Uplift eye creamwithSuper Creamerum eye serum (I love the texture of the S.I. Uplift eye cream & the Super Creamerum eye serum adds magnificent brightness to the eye area!!), & I'm using Super Creamerumby itself (as my serum/face cream). I tend to change up my skin care routine every now & then. I love so many products that I couldn't possibly use them each day so I rotate what I use. I absolutely LOVE the Super Creamerum!! If you're not sure if it's for you, purchase the sample strips first. That's a great way to try the products.

I also use Ice Age 2x daily. I had age spots on my upper cheek area& Ice Age has faded them dramatically! It also took awaythe darkness I had in my under eye area. Ice Age is also great for lines & wrinkles. Unlike Instatox that provides immediate results, Ice Age will provide longterm results. Try using Ice Age at night & Instatox in the morning.

If you haven't tried C Extreme Results, drop everything, go to your backoffice & order some samples right now!!!

That's great that your daughters are using Continously Clear. That is the product line that changed my skin & ultimately changed my life. I started suffering from adult acne in my early-mid 20s, tried every other product in existence & my skin only got worse. With that comes low self-esteem, low confidence level, etc. so that's what I mean when I say it changed my life. Not only did my skin clear, but it looked the best it ever looked. My husband noticed the difference in my personality right away- I was more confident &more outgoing. I definitely am the most passionate about this product line than any other & probably always will be.

As you probably noticed, I do have personal experience with all of the products so if you ever have a product question, don't hesitate to ask. I know it can be confusing starting out trying to figure out which product to use for what & I'm always happy to help!!

Welcome Sillymom!!

You made a great decision to join Seriesse! And Cyndi is right... "It doesn't matter when you start using the products, just that you start using them!!" .

I started using them when I was 34 years old. I had SOOOOO many people guessing my age to be 6 - 10 years older than I was. PLUS, I had some fine lines (crows feet) around my eyes. I knew I was not going to be aging gracefully and I needed some help. I happened to be watching HSN and saw Jennifer promoting the Serious Skin Care line. I swear she was talking directly to me that day....lol. She said if you are in your early 30's and are just starting out with fine lines and wrinkles, then you have to get on our Vitamin A line! She also said, if you can only affordone thing, then get the A-Force serum! So,I took Jennifer's advice and did just that. I included the A-Force Serum in my routine morning and night. After about 4-5 months my husband pointed out to me that the fine lines around my eyes were gone. I did not even ask him to notice! I did not even tell him I was using a new product! I was amazed! I had never expected to actually get results..I just wanted it to help slow down the aging process. I then threwall my other products away.I have been hooked on these products ever since and have never used any other products on my skin ever since. The best part is that now I get comments that I look young! YEAH!

The Green Tea Drops are great! I have a tip for the Citrus which is very good.Use a 2 QT container and put in about 9 - 10 drops (depending on your taste) of the Citrus Green tea, add a slice of lemon and keep it in the fridge. It isso refreshing!

Cyndi,I LOVED your story!!Happy Birthday this month!!!! You have few months on me girl! I will be 42 in Novenmber.

MUCH success to you Sillymom!! We are here if you need any help! You are also welcome to PM us with any questions if you need.

Hi Kathy!
Good Morning & thanks for the birthday wishes- that was really sweet!

I love your story too. That's so awesome that you went from looking years older than your age to years YOUNGER!! It really changes the way you feel on the inside too, doesn't it? I'm so happy for you that you made the decision to try the products & I know what you mean about Jennifer- I felt the same way- like she was talking directly to ME!! 14 years ago, they only had the acne line (5 products total in the ENTIRE line!!!) When she spoke about her personal experience with acne, she was so passionate about it- it was something that couldn't have been faked & THAT'S what made me pick up the phone to order. I love talking to others who have experienced a dramatic difference in their skin with Seriesse!

I am definitely going to try your suggestion about thecitrusGreen Tea Drops...it sounds fabulous!! If you have any others, bring 'em on!

Ok, well, first of all, I can't believe that I am going to do this, and this is very hard for me, because, well, I feel so "young", but I too am turning 42 in December, THERE, I DID IT, I told the world!smileys/smiley2.gif No one mistakes me for a woman in her 20's, but maybe after some long term use of these products they will!! You know the sad thing is that I went out w/my hubby the other night, I actually found myself grabbing my license for just in case if I got carded, UM NO, IT NEVER HAPPENED, shoot! Those days are over I guess! ha,ha!

Hey, by the way, since you are my age too, this is way off topic, but you would love this book that I am reading. It is called "Losing It" by Valerie Bertanelli. Remember her from One Day at a Time? I love it, because it is so interesting to hear her talking about aging, diet and Eddie Van Halen! ha,ha!! Really, it is nastalgic as well. She talks about the Partridge Family, the Brady Bunch and so on. Just thought I would share that with ya!!

Anyway, thank you Cyndi, Kathi, and Emmac for your sweet words and I appreciate your offer of help if needed, so NICE of you ladies!!!

Gotta go make some of that Green tea drink that Kathy told us about, sounds great!

Hi Ladies,

I just ordered my Continuously Clear Set on Friday day and am very excited about getting. I still suffer from adult acne even at the young age of 43! I also am getting is so my 17 year old can try it also. She had just in the past year started with horrible breaking out on her face and back. She is even excited about trying the products too.

Cheryl-

You will have beautiful skin in no time! CC not only works great but quickly too! The overall appearance of your & your daughter's skin will improve too. Most of mycustomers refer to it as "glowing". You're going to be amazed by how great Dry-Lo works too- I'm NEVER without that in my house!

Lucky for my son, I was already using CC when he hit those teen breakout years so he just used my products. He cracked me up telling his friends about his "zit kit"! Since he started using the products at the 1st signs of acne, he never experienced a full blown breakout (yes, I was jealous- but happy for him too!).

I can't wait to hear about your results- be sure to keep us posted. I love when someone is just starting this line & hearing their excitement as their skin starts to improve. That's by far the best part of being a Seriesse consultant!!

I love hearing all your sucess stories! I've been using the A Serum faithfully every am and pm and I totally notice a difference. In all my years of tryingto find great skin care - I've NEVER noticed positive changes so quickly. I'm 44 and I still have oily skin so the A line is great for me and the Glycolic cleanser and mask - I love love love these!! My skin gets dryer in the winter so I may try the C line then. BUT I've got my eye on the Super Creamerum! Kathy2 is my rep and sending me the DryLo (thanks again!) - that will be great for my monthly acne visit! And my preteen girls too!

Cyndi - how often do you change up your routine? Do you usually change just your serums or everything? Monthly? Seasonally?
I could talk about skincare and makeup all day long - I love this forum!!

Oh Lisa - so many times I almost picked up Valerie Bertinelli's book and I just figured"oh next time" - I will next time for sure -I lovethe 70's/80's nostalgic stuff - fun time!

emmacmc-
i don't have any certain timeframe. it's just that i love so many products, i can't possibly use them at the same time so i switch off. also, of course, i "listen" to my skin (if its drier than usual, that kind of thing). i'm a person who CANNOT do autoship!!right now in my bathroom, i have an olive oil cleanser, aC cleanser, AND an A cleanser! also, i won't letmy hubby & my son use anything else on their skin so i make sure there's always something for everyone.

i'm like you- i love skin care & makeup!! since i won't use any other product line, i like to play with everything in our product line. as far as makeup goes, i won't use any other foundation other than our s.i. minerale, i love our eyeshadow (it does not crease at all throughout the day!) & our eyeliner. however, i will purchase lipcolors from other companies in addition to ours but that's about it.

i also love, love, love the glycolic mask!!! the c extreme results is absolutely amazing too!! HIGHLY recommend that! you're gonna love the Super C eye too- the brightness it brings to the eye area really is incredible.

i may go with theRulineaFX once i'm out of my Super C - haven't used that in awhile!!

this is such a great thread we've got going here!!!

Cyndi

Oh yes - the Minerale foundation!! I've been using it for about a week or so and I LOVE IT!! I've been using BE minerals for about 6 years but in the past year or so my skin gets shinier alot faster so I've been experimenting with other mineral brands and so far SI is my favorite!! I haven't tried any of the make up yet - I'm actually a "Sephora" girl for eyeshadows, liners and lip glosses, I actually like Mary Kay's new mineral eyeshadows alot too. But I'll tell you - I'm so impressed with SI's skin care - love it!

Question for you Cyndi and Kathy and other SI gals - do you guys do "parties" or mostly one on ones? How do you find your customers? I'm probably going to join SI eventually for primarily personal use, but I'm not ruling out sharing the "joy"!Just curious... do you share samples first, etc?

OMG...I too love this post! I do not like to talk about ALL the products I love to customers or potential customersunless they ask because I do not want them to think I am just trying to push lots ofproducts onto them. So,I LOVE the fact thatI can talk openly to other Seriesse product lovers. Thanks Gals! This is fun!

Okay, well let me start by saying I love SOOOO many!! LOL! I too switch my products regularly. Lately I have beenusing the A-Force Serum (at night) and the C-Serum (morning) and sometimes I like to use the Uplift Serum as well. The Uplift Serum makes your skin feel alive!

For the eye area, SuperCreamerum Eye or Calstrum La Creme Eye and the Uplift eye on top.

For my moisturizer, sometimes I will put on the Rulinea Fx (LOVE it!), then the CC face cream (hormonal acne, ugh), then the Uplift face Cream on top. In the winter time I will use the C-Repair Cream and about 2 times a week I will use the Olive Oil as the last step before bed.

And of course the Dry Lo. I cannot live without that!

Geesh, as I write this I realize that I use so many of them. I do not haveone setproduct. I use what I feelmy skin needs at that time. To me the most important thing is the routine of cleansing the skin and applyingaserum, eye and face creammorning and night. Since all of our products work together, this is fine. I also alternate between the Glycolic Mask and the C-Extreme Results...LOVE them both!

I have not met a Seriesse product yet that I do not like. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif

Some of my other favorites are the Lip gloss and the lip plumper. These do a fantastic job of moisturizing the lips and it is long lasting.

I have never really been a mascara wearer until our mascara. It justs seems to glide on the lashes to lengthen them with no clumps. I love it.

Another of my new favorites is the sheer matte finishing powder. Jennifer had mentioned during one of our webcasts to use it under the eyes and on top of the eyelids. I apply this to these areas after I apply the foundation and before I put on my make up and I love it. It seems to set the makeup so that it stays in place. She has great tips! I love her webcasts.

And of course, the foundation and blush is GREAT!!! They are among my top favorites.

Okay, I could go on but I will stop. smileys/smiley4.gif

I think it is funny that we are all so close in age! Lisa, I loved all those shows. I would find that book fascinating to read! Thanks for the tip!I should get it. Sadly, IMO..Van Halen was never the same after the split with david Lee Roth.

Hey Emmacmc! Hello! I have done more parties than one on ones. However I like both for different reasons. To me the most important thing is to have a customer try something. We do have a 45 day money back guarentee but if I could save someone the hassle of possibly having to return something then I would like to try....so if a person does not want a one on one then I will give them a few samples to try.My friends have takenbooks to their offices for the ladies to look at. If someone was undecided on what to choose then I give my friend a couple of samples to take to that girl to try. Then of course there are forums which are great. I also put a business card in the envelope when I pay my bills ( I actually got one customer by doing this).

It seems that if someone loves something then they tell someone and they tell someone and so on.

I have a tip: When I go on vacation, instead of taking my full size products, I just take a few sample strips with me. I can get about 3 -4 applications with one strip. It takes up less room in the luggage and you do not have to worry about something happening to the product itself.

Okay..now it is late and I must get to bed. Have a good night ladies!

First of all, I didn't say Happy Birthday to Cyndi! So Happy Birthday!smileys/smiley4.gif

I am loving hearing about all the products, it is so helpful. I watched the product demo dvd about 3 times yesterday, there is alot to learn, but it is fun!

I did receive an email from a lady who had all kinds of problems, she stated that she has major sun damage, very large pores, sagging skin, and even dryness as well. Ok, well, this being a little new to me, I forwarded the email to my sponser and asked her what she thought. She told me to tell the lady to use the 2-step C-Extreme Skin resurfacer and then use the Rulinea FX for the eyes and face for about 3 days to bring her skin up to par and then continue w/the C-Essentials (or she could even use the A-essentials) products for everyday use. So, of course I told the lady this and am sending her samples. Well, anyway, I have all these products, so I did exactly what I told her to do for herself and WOW, WOW, WOW, what an overnight difference! The Rulinea FX feels so fantastic going on and it is so rich that you don't need much at all! The sample itself will last me about 3 days!

You do realize ladies that we are all going to be gorgeous in our old ages, don't you?smileys/smiley2.gif

So, what are your thoughts on the Alma packets? I started using them last week and it was kinda funny, because my husband said, "boy you are in a good mood lately!" Seriously, I have, and wonder if this has anything to do w/it or am I imagining it? So, this would be good to drink right before that special monthly time!

Oh yea, and about the book (sorry, hope this is ok to be so off topic!), I am not real far into it yet, so hope it stays as interesting as the beginning is, but Valerie Bertanelli talks about so many things that spark a memory for me, like Greg Evigen! I had his poster on my wall! And Elton John and Shaun Cassidy, hey, I should know this, but I don't remember, what happened to him? I loved him and Andy Gibb and of course Scott Baio! The book is suppose to talk about her weight loss and dealing w/aging too. I can so relate!

Have a super day ladies!

Oh forgot to ask something. What are your thoughts on the Celluduction? I just bought it and can't wait to try it!

Kathy2
08-11-2008, 07:39 AM
Hey Sillymom,

I have not tried the Celluduction but I pulled a quote from Mindy McCortney's blog:

"Now, the final product I want to brag about today is the Celluduction. I have lost inches and cellulite off my thighs! The key is: you have to give it time and you have to use it. It took about 5 months to see the fat melt away and see the difference in my thighs...but I am THRILLED!
I have been in the 'tv shopping world' for over 20 years and I've seen a lot of products. There aren't many that I would stake my reputation on, but these I've talked about, I certainly would with no hesitation. "

Sounds good to me!

It is not your imaginantion on your mood. I have felt that myself when taking the Amla Powder. It gives me energy to get through the day feeling more energenic and happier. My husband was taking the Green Tea Pills and he felt a big difference in his mood when he had a higher energy level. I Have heard this story many times. It also helps usto betterdeal with stress in our lives which is one of the reasons I love all the S-Force products.

I also must comment on Andy Gibb!! I had a major crush in him! I had a poster of him on my bedroom wall with hisshiney satin jacket on. If you want to really bring back some memories...there are lots of videos on YouTube of Andy singing.

Thanks for the B-Day wishesLisa!

I take the Amla Rush concentrate, not the packets. No, you're not imagining it- it DOES make a difference in stress level. That's one of the first things I noticed about it. I work f/t as a paralegal in a busy law firm & my afternoons are most always quite stressful. But since I started drinking the Amla Rush regularly, I don't feel so stressed. That uptight feeling you get when you're stressed is no longer there. My son loves the Amla Rush too.

As for your party question, so far my Seriesse biz has mostly been from online advertising & one-on-ones. Actually, I've been "selling" these products YEARS before Seriesse came about. Anytime I rec'd compliments on my skin, I'd recommend SSC. So I have friends who are using the products. And as Kathy said, from there is word of mouth. One of my close friends actually asked me about having a Seriesse party so we're going to plan 1 for the fall so who knows? This may be the start of something new!

OMG!! Andy Gibb!! Kathy- I had the SAME poster!!! Too funny.

Cyndi

Kathy2
08-11-2008, 08:38 AM
Hey Cyndi,
I wish you MUCH success on your party!!! I have found that concentrating on thecore product lines (A, C, Calstrum, Olive Oil, Continuously Clear and also my favorite makeup and S-Force products ) works better than displaying and talking about ALL the products.

My first party, I displayed everything I had and talked about all of them(I still don't know how I remembered all that being as nervous as I was...lol!).I found that people were confusedon what to try. People tend to get less confused when they have less to choose from. So, concentrating on the core product lines gave us more time for them to try it and gave us more time for questions and answers on what would be best for them.

P.S. That IS funny about the poster!!! We probably have alot more in common than we know...LOL!

Hi ladies!

Kathy knows - I'm a big fan of the S-Force products too! I've been taking the vitamins and they are great - no upset stomach or anything. I also take the green tea capsules (my husband is diabetic so I just lectured him last night that he should be taking them too!!). And I think I'm the only one but I HATED the Amla liquid! I use the powder packets - definitly helps my energy level. It's so nice to find a company that has SO MANY great products to make us feel and look good!

OH - and I totally had those posters on my wall too - all from Tiger Beat magazine!! Hee hee - I was so in love with Shaun Cassidy. And I had the Andy Gibb poster too with the shiny jacket and way too tight pants. So funny!! ;-)

Tiger Beat, that is right! Wow, you remember that? What about Leif Garret? OMG, have you seem him now? ICKY! Hey, that Andy Gibb poster, was he laying down sideways in that poster? Cuz I so remember that! You know all this talk has had me singing "Hey Deenie!", ya know, ya hear a song and can't get it out of your head?? What about Greg Brady? OH MY! ha,ha!!! Too fun!!

Now, about Seriesse International!! Back to business...so how about that mineral makeup?smileys/smiley2.gif No seriously, have any of you tried the new liquid foundations? I just ordered some samples, can't wait to try those.

Cyndi - how do you do it all? I work 20 hours a week at a furniture store, have 3 kids, 2 dogs and do about 3-4 jewelry parties a month. That's MORE then enough for me! But you're right, there's nothing better than makeup, skincare and jewelry! Well... maybe if we added handbags...http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif

Oh I loved Peter Frampton too! "Frampton Comes Alive" - what a classic. I just heard a song on the radio this morning - an oldies station, of course...

Hey Sillymom - are you getting one of the fast track kits? I'm going to get one of the $300 ones, I just can't decide which one!

Hi girls!,

First off...let me Congratulate Emmacmc!! I love having her on our Esse Team! and thank you for the compliment!!! I think you Rocktoo!!!

Cyndi.....You DO look like you are in your 20s!!! I am SOOOOO jealous! And what is the meaning of saying that you do not take nice pictures?!? That is a great picture! It is nice to see you!!

Sillymom....It took me a while beforeI put a picture up on my site as well. I was actually too scared to put a picture of me on the internet but we have been told that people like to do business with people they feel as though they know and they feel better seeing the person they are doing business with. So once I overcame my fear, I then had to find a picture of myself. That took a long time in itself because I usually do not allow pictures to be taken of me. I... unlike Cyndi http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif... reallyam unphotogenic . My picture was takenat Walt Disney World in 2005 with my daughter by a stranger. I had a massive sinus infection at the time and I was miserable but I was on meds and ended up having a great time anyway. So, get a picture up when you find one you are comfortable with.....besides we cannot wait to see you too!
