Ok..so far I have figured out that the commission for Arbonne is 35%. Is that correct?
Next, I see products on ebay like tht RE9 cream that is $72 on your website selling for $25 on ebay. How is this?? How are these people making profits?

Some of these products might be samples they have used or expired products. Also, we have specials for $100 of product for only $20, so they may have bought the RE9 night cream.

People selling products on ebay should not be consultants either. It is against our company's policy to sell products on ebay. It is possible that the seller is a former consultant just trying to get some money back after quitting the business. Also, many get the night creme as their free product when they sign up as a consultant (with your first $100 order you get a free product in your signing month). After becoming a consultant they may decide it's ot the businesss for them and be selling their free product.
Arbonne is very strict about keeping consultants from selling products on ebay, so I would hope that is not the case.

Wow! There are LOTS of people breaking those rules! I was considering becoming a Consultant til I saw that. Just about every single product of that RE9 line is on there..look
http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&satitl (http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&satitle=RE9) e=RE9
So I figured I couldnt compete with that. If I were you all who are already consultants I would definitely point this out to the company!
Thanks for the info!!

I knew about the products on eBay before I became a Consultant. It does notbother me. My clients like to work with me, and know their products have never been touched.
I have never had a client say, "I can get this cheaper on eBay." I have not met anyone who has bought makeup or skin care on eBay.
Do not let this be the reason why you do not become a Consultant. Not everyone buys on eBay.

Really? Thats good for you then! I always buy stuff on ebay like make-up and skincare just for the savings but Idont like the idea of people undercutting others.
Well thanks for pointing this out.
Oh..is RILEY your son? I have a a Riley too..who is 3 and a 19 mo daughter Revlyn.

My son is named Riley, he is 18 months old. The name fit him when he was in my belly. My FIL, who is Irish, told me the saying in Ireland, "The life of Riley." It means, having fun and getting into trouble. We had a good laugh.
I hope you still consider being a Consultant. I love being a Consultant with Arbonne.

Heather-
I am sorry to hear that you are no longer interested in joining Arbonne because of what you have seen on ebay. Arbonne is well-aware of the people selling on Arbonne and I am sure they are doing everything in their power to stop it.
If you are looking at the Arbonne Opportunity from a business perspective, please do not let the items on ebay discourage you from that! I can assure you that the people on ebay probably aren't going to make it to the top in Arbonne (if that is what there intentions are).
Whatever you decide, I wish you luck!

welcome to our board Jolly! I think all companies have a problem w/ ebay. I don't think you will find as much bickering here though. No offense to the MK board, but it does go on alot. We are all pretty supportive of eachother. Hopefully you can find good tips to help you w/ your business!

Yes, I am proud to be a member of this board and an Arbonne consultant! I have never seen so many supportive, positive people.
As a side note, the subject was broached by someone who was researching the company and saw the items on ebay.

Don't worry, there's only bickering over there because the kaybots
don't want the truthsayers telling all the FACTS about MK. I
wonder if this board will let the truth be told about Arbonne?

Actually, Arbonne has people who specifically watch & deal with the people on ebay. But those who do it work the system & get around the rules. It’s not as easy to control as one would think. But they do deal with them.

I’m sorry that you feel like you can’t compete with that. I know you can. I watch people being successful in this business every day. The people on ebay who are selling Arbonne don’t get it. They are never going to be financially free that way.
This business is about relationships. You don’t get rich with Arbonne by selling products one by one. You get rich by building relationships & teaching people why Arbonne is different. Teaching them how they can switch their household from what they are using to using Arbonne. They can get products that they know are pure, safe & beneficial and as an added bonus they can get them at a discount.
I almost feel sorry for the people who sell Arbonne on ebay. Almost.

Mocha, don't know who you are & don't care. I welcome anyone from any other conmpany who wants to contribute to our conversations. The more the merrier!
However, from just the couple of posts I've seen you don't care to contribute to conversations. You appear to just want to run in, post something "witty" (so you think) & sarcastic. Just enough to try to cause problems.
From your posts I am going to assume you haven't been in Arbonne & know nothing about us or the company. And if that is the case I am wondering why you are even in our folder. You obviously aren't here to learn anything about the company or the industry. That would lead me to believe you just like to stir up trouble. So I automatically have to dismiss anything you say since I haven't seen you back anything up with facts. (or "the truth" as you seem to want to call it)
You say you wonder if this board will let the truth be told about Arbonne. Do you even know what "the truth" is? From the next statement of "Prolly not....silly me...it might impact recruiting, right?" I am going to guess that the answer is that you probably don't because then you would know that we have nothing to hide. smileys/smiley1.gif

Do you all see that little "search" button at the bottom of each post? I just did a search on topics that mochamocha has posted to and EVERY post she has made is completely negative and I have yet to find one with actual facts. It is all her speculations and her ideals. Which, mean Nothing.
Mocha, if you want to post this negativity to our board, post hard facts and links, not just your viewpoints.
Where's the ignore button when you need it? smileys/smiley36.gif

Yeah, I think the best thing to do is just ignore the posts. If Mocha has specific questions about Arbonne and negative info. w/ FACTS, I would be happy to answer. But the back and forth is silly and will not get anywhere. I love this company, I love our products, and I love you ladies! I have said it before, but you have been a huge support, encouragement, and I even consider most of you my "team." O.k, group hug and wipe the tears....smileys/smiley2.gif

I only have a few facts about Arbonne. But I'm happy to
learn. On the other hand, I know lots of facts about MLM.
So that should make this a little more fun, shouldn't it?
And I have a happy and fantastic life. I just hate seeing women lied to!
