I asked this in the business folder but thought I would post it here as well to see what you all thought.
I own and operate www.wahmomsplace.org (http://www.wahmomsplace.org/) and am thinking about selling it to focus more on my design business.
How much should I even ask for? How much would you pay? Where is a good place to look for buyers? Do I just transfer the files to them?
Thanks,
Jessica

What kind of site is it? Is it a CMS or static site (that influences the ease of updating and keeping track of ads & banner campaigns)? How much traffic does it get? Do you have members or advertisers? How much time do you have into the site?

I have put a lot of time into the site. The traffic is slow now becuase it's pretty new. It's only been up for about 3 months and unique visitors is up to 1000/month, give or take. I have members for the forum and I have had a pretty steady income of advertisers.

Hi Jessica,
Personally I'd wait a bit longer and continue to grow it as best as you can.
It doesn't have a Google PR or an Alexa rating yet. That is something most serious buyers would look at right away.
Seeing as how you've put so much time into it already... it would be a shame to sell it for little money.
It's a good name. Are you utilizing any Google Ads on it to start getting some revenue from your visitors?

You should wait a little bit longer, but you can always put it up for sale on SEDO and see if you get any offers.
Good Luck

And where is SEDO? I have a web site that I'm going to sell, and would like to know the best places to list it. :)
