Hi
My dad bought a website name a few years ago and does not remember the company he bought it from. WhoIs shows him as the owner. Is there any way to track down who he bought it from??? We want to change it to have all the billing from one company... his host company and the company he bought the name from are not working well together after a year or so now....smileys/smiley5.gif

Sometimes the Who Is will show where the domain name is located. But if it didn't, you can go to the domain name registrar you want to have the domain name at and initiate a domain name transfer.
If your fathers email is still current, they will send him the necessary instructions and it should go through without a hitch.
