My Tuscanny Nights candle has a sticky note on it - I have been tracking burn times every time I light it. I have been sticking to the rules, (out of draft, trim wick, etc) and it is 93 hours and still going. It is getting close to the end of the wicks so It may not be going very much longer.
Has anyone else timed their candles?
Just keeps burning, just keeps burning, just keeps burningsmileys/smiley1.gif

I've not tracked that just yet, but it's a great idea!
What was your longest burn time? Did you stick to the recommended 3 hours or go longer?

I stuck to the 3 hours at a time rule and burn out - let it solidify, trim wicks if needed then re-light as needed. I want to make sure I stuck to the rules on this one.

I am a bad mia bella mamma!! I always burn mine longer than 3 hours.....but....I do keep an eye on the wicks. Sometimes i blow them out just to trim, then relight for delight! lol (cheesey i know) smileys/smiley36.gif
I tell my customers when they want to know hours between 80-100 and sometimes longer but that is the average.
Like they keep track of it anyway!! We arent all as
cool as Mrs. Deb!! smileys/smiley16.gif Hugs!!!!! smileys/smiley31.gif

Hi Debra!smileys/smiley4.gif
Margey, the candle expert, always tells me about burn times.
All I know is these "babies" burn a LONNNNNNNG TIME! smileys/smiley17.gif
I've had some Apricot Freesia votives burning for what seems like 2 days?
These are amazing....
And since I was not a candle lover BEFORE Mia Bella, I had no idea about blackstuff being emitted from other brandsand ingredients in other candles. I now realize why I really didn't like candles BEFORE Mia Bella, that waxy unnatural look and feel of them and the black stuff coming from them and leaving black residue. YIKES.....
Anyways, these absolutely do burn a LONG time.
Margey, Candle Expert, your thoughts, insights and observations?smileys/smiley2.gif

I ATTEMPT to burn my candles for 3 hours but I have to admit that alot of times I leave my candles burning for a DARN long time!
Still waiting on my Apricot Freesia COM here........
I cannot wait for this one it sounds TOTALLY like my type of scent!!!

Hello fellow candle lovers!
If you follow the proper burning instructions I've had votives last me 20 hours and jars last me 120+ hours!
Darker color candles and those with fragrances such as cinnamon tend to burn a little hotter and faster and will not last 'quite' as long but will still out do the competition by miles!
I started burning Apple Cinnamon onlast Saturday.Weekends the candles will burn 8 hrs or more (with a break in the middle). Each week day I light it at 9:15 AM and it burns til I get my daughter from school at 3 PM, so that's 6 hrs (with a quick break around noon to blow out and let solidify which is about 15 min so I took off the extra 15 min) Then when we get back I relight the candle around 3:45 and it burns til about 10 with another 15 min wick break in the middle. So another 6 hrs. So this week I've burned the same candle:
Saturday 8 hrs
Sunday 8 hrs
Monday 12 hrs
Tuesday 12 hrs
Wed 12 hrs
Thurs 12 hrs
Friday 12 hrs
That's 76 hours on this baby so far AND I still have 1/3 of the jar left! I KNOW this candle willlast me til at LEAST the end of the day Tuesday or LONGER!
AND this is a dark one with CINNAMON too!
AND AND AND! NO BLACK sooty mess on the rim of my jar! Gotta love it!

Just Had to Share.... some of you might know, my house is on the market. Well, I just had a showing, and the realtor left her card and then a sticky that said "House Smelt Amazing, I just LOVE Mia Bella Candles."
I was walking around blowing out candles and my husband thought it was so cool and had to show me immediately! I figured at least I am leaving a HUGE impression!!

KORI!
What an awesome opportunity for you! CALL THAT REALTOR! Ask her if she
would like to begin using Mia Bella products in her housewarming gifts for
clients who purchase homes! Who knows, if she loves them so much, she
would be an EXCELLENT candidate for COTM..

I was thinking the same thing, or at least carry one with her for her open houses for all her homes she sells to make it smell nice - with owners permission of couse. They say to have something baking before showing the home or open house. smileys/smiley1.gif
