Crazy or silly question to some but, have you ever known anyone who has gotten a legit WAHJjob from Craigslist? I get kind of nervous that there are a lot of scam jobs on there.
Thanks!

I have as well........like Eclectic said, you do need to be careful. But then again that goes with anything you apply for no matter where you find it.

I have also found legit jobs from Craigslist. Although it was not a work at home job. Which are you looking for? WAHM or not? If you are looking for local jobs, I never even look at an ad that doesn't have the location displayed next to it. I've found that most of those are people looking to get your email so they can spam you. Also, beware of outrageous compensation promises. For instance, I once saw an ad for an admin assitant, entry level, starting pay $60-75K per year. Yeah, right!
HTH. Good luck in your search!

I found my job that I have now on Craigslist! It is a wonderful wahj and I love it. Like everyone else said, be careful; if it looks to good to be true or seems strange, it probably is. At the same time, keep in mind CL is an excellent resource!

There are lots of great jobs on craigslist, especially short-term gigs. But you've got to watch out for the occasional scammer. Because they're definitely out there. smileys/smiley5.gif

I have found 3 non phone jobs through craigslist. We post a ton of leads from there every day on our site. You do run into the occasional scam but the majority are great. Edited by: kimadhd

I have a hard time locating wah jobs on craigslist also...it takes forever.
Right now I have 2 wah jobs (non-phone) that came from craigslist adds...both well known companies and very legit.
I cheat though...I go to www.workathomemafia.com (http://www.workathomemafia.com) and check their job posts out...they post tons from craigslist and that is where I have found the two jobs I have.
Good Luck!!!

Not sure if this is the easiest way to do it, but here's how I would find wahj on craigslist:
Start by picking your city, then click on the "jobs" link (you can click on the word "job" itself to get all the postings instead of selecting a specific occupation area if you want).
Then once you get to the next page, you'll see the search box where you can search for keywords. Underneath it there is a box called "telecommute". Just check the box and you should be all set!
Since (obviously) wahj are done remotely, you don't have to limit yourself to just your city. You can also repeat this process for other cities. (Try the big ones first!)
Hope that helps! smileys/smiley1.gif
