OK....I am sorry everyone, but I need to ask another question. First..let me tell you why I have this question: I don't want to have any of you wasting your information packets on me if I decide not to go with you. Do you think I should try to find a sponsor that is closer to me locations wise? I am in Turtle Lake, WI.

So my question is...........who lives close to me???smileys/smiley36.gif

Thanks!!

Annette

Having a sponsor nearby is totally your call! Have you checked the arbonne website for locate a consultant? If there is one close that posts here, you will find out soon! My sponsor lives in Michigan and I am in Wyoming, so it can be done. But, it is nice to be able to have the trainings available nearby, and know that your sponsor is just a few moments away to help w/ parties, or one on ones.

I think it really depends on you.

I personally LOVE that my sponsor is local, now her sponsor is not. LOL

We do talk by phone a lot, but I do also see her a few times a week. It's nice.

Totally a personal choice I think.

Annette,

I agree with theabove. I think everyone has a different experience and it'll be up to you.

I don't have a local sponsor but it works for me. In turn,I sponsor new consultants long distancebecause I'm comfortable with that and have seen that long distance sponsors can still be successful. That works for mebut that doesn't mean that'll be right for you.

You'll have to do a little soul-searching to figure it out. However, I think the bottom line is to align yourself with someone you feel compatible with and then the success will follow.

Waving Hi! I'm a consultant in the Wis Rapids area. We're pretty close (you're actually closer to my SIL in Chippewa Falls)! <!--

Basically it is up to you as everyone said. There can be someone close
to you that you just dont click with, and someone 1000 miles away that
you get along great with. My sponsors are in TN and I am in IL, and its
working great! I love them!

Annette,

no need to apologize for asking another question. You SHOULD ask it if you have it. Ask as many as you need to be comfortable with your choice. It's something you aren't going to be able to change once you make it so you should be sure about it. smileys/smiley1.gif

And I have to agree with everyone else, it's what you are comfortable with regarding location. Personally, I don't think location matters b/c I've seen too many successes that suggest otherwise. Plus, unless you are going with the party system, you can do everything over the phone now.

My essential requirement is that I click with the person, I believe in the approach they are using & I know how they are going to support me. I want someone who is open to trainings & keeps up with them. Someone who is going to readily pass on their knowledge to me & my team. Someone who is going to meet me where I am. By that I mean if I am ready to go full throttle then they are there with me or if I need to take it slower then they will adjust to that.

I've watched people who are happy with their sponsors & people who aren't. And it seems to me thatit is those type of things that determineit. smileys/smiley1.gif

At home Leah & Chrlstoncharmed,

First....what is "my SIL"?? (Sorry....I tried to figure it out and I just don't get it?)

Second....Turtle Lake is about 60 miles North of Eau Claire. We have the "St. Croix Casino". The one with the dancing turtle!! LOL! We go there maybe once or twice per year to have the sea food buffet....but otherwise it is usually just a waste of $$$$! (Except I will admit that my husband and I were there a few weeks ago because the kids were in Eau Claire visiting Grandma and Grandpa. We went for the Thursday night sea food buffet. Anyway...we had to wait for approximately and hour so we each to $20.00 and went off to waste our time and money. Well..........$6.00 into my slot machine I ended up winning $1,125.00!!! What a major surprise!! I went off to find my husband....he was in SHOCK! I was like "let'sleave now"! He had to remind me that we hadn't even eaten yet!! LOL! Needless to say.........I paid for dinner!! LOL!)

Wow....I really babbled on there didn't I!!

Anyway.......that is where Turtle Lake is at!

Wow Annette! I bet that was one heck of a dinner! Congrats! So you're close to Amery. I have a good business partner with AtHome America in Amery. She's doing great and I am so happy to have gotten to know her.

I just want to echo something you may have already heard or seen on the boards. When it comes to choosing a sponsor, don't let distance alone be your guide. With other companies, I've worked with people very close to me who didn't mentor or coach me at all. At the same time, I've developed relationships with people across the country in whom I find support, motivation and inspiration. I think one of the great things about Arbonne is a culture of caring and nurturing for each other. Even if we're not in the same successline. So I think you'll find yourselfa part of the family regardless of who you sign with. Am I right ladies?

I totally agree that us "Arbonnites"are very supportive of one another. There are SO many "winning" teams at Arbonne and after your WIN that night(WOW, congrats, I'm such a loser smileys/smiley19.gif- I've NEVER won anything like that!!!!), I'm sure you'll find an appropriate fit for you.

As several of us have mentioned, distance shouldn't be the only factor in choosing your sponsor. I know from my former corporate life that remote team members canbe successfully managed through email, one on one phone calls, conference calls, etc., etc., etc. You basically do whatever it takes to make it work.

Anyway, no need for me to repeat what has already been said. I know you have the gist of it but I did want to reaffirm that Arbonne is a very supportive culture. I knowour overwhelming success has a lot to do with it.

You are right! I had a consultant from Nebraska call me last week (totally different success line). She invited me to dinner w/ a group of consultants and a new RVP who lives in a small town of 100. She also invited me to the Denver trainings since there is none in Cheyenne. And then of course, everyone here is so helpful and encouraging! It is great to be a part of!

Just so ya'll know, I plan on being the first RVP in the whole state of Wyoming and start my very own trainings and monthly meetings. Big goals!! Edited by: bbrown1226
