I recently rec'vd my p&c license for ohio... I thought about calling up geico or progressive.. but does any know of any insurance company hiring people to wah or that lets you start your own agency out of your home with thier help...

With P/C that's tough call. People purchase agencies all the time, but I haven't seen it done as a work at home thing. Call a few P/C agency and see what they say.
You can contact a Primerica office becauseI think they are set up in some states for people to offer P/C products, but there is a BIGGGGGGGGG BUT.
The BUT part I can't go into because some will get their feelings hurt. If that's something your looking at hey just do your homework..This is not a recommendation of any kind. You asked and i'm just giving you information what I know. Let me just say, do research and READ your contract...
