My biggest joy, as a father, is sitting down for supper every evening with my 3 kids & wife...where we can pray, talk, laugh and just being able to hear, share and enjoy the sounds of family life from each of our lives..its like an adventure in our house..and thats a nice thing..I love my family very much.. that to me is my treasure..and for that I am grateful and thankful...for those tender moments are the happiest times of my life today..Every thing I do is for them not me....

My family and my part time music career make me the happiest. Nothing beats playing with my daughter. This from someone who always said I don't want kids. I guess things change.

Someone else making dinner makes me happy!

Some other things:

Waking up in the morning and seeing my kids asleep is like Christmas morning

Laying in the sun on the beach

The scent of roses

Classic rock music from the 70s

Uninterrupted time on the computer

I feel happier already just thinking about these things! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif

Great question! Walking barefoot in the grass, smelling rain, watching children play. Making new friends, time with old friends. Watching old people and children, seeing the world through their eyes, listening tothem tell their stories about theirlives, their passions. Knowing God is smiling or laughing at the silly things we do. Being in love.

I never realized how much I took for granted until I was shot in my back and had to learn how to walk again. Dr's told my parents that I would never walk again, yet everytime I get a step closer makes me the happiest person alive. I can takea few steps on my own without the aid of a cane and I know that one day I will get where I want to be.http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif

1. Sipping on a glass of wine while sitting in the backyard with my husband and watching the sunset.

2. Every night as my son lays down to bed I lie beside him while he says his prayers andgoodnight to all his "buddies". We then take a few minutes to discuss or laugh about"whatever" then he gives me this huge hug, presses him wonderful cheek against mine, gives me a kiss and says "I love you mom".

3. Coming in the house from a day of gardening and feeling totally at peace.

Tucking in my 4 kids at night and watching them sleep so peacefully with out a care in the world. Mournings are my favorite because I like to take a moment to be grateful for all that I have been blessed with and I look at each day as a gift that I am about to unwrap, not knowing what's inside. Each new day brings new experiences, new opportunites, new adventures. That's why mournings are my favorite time of the day, each mourning is a new beginning with plenty of possibilities. You see the world in a different light when you start your day with a smile on your face.

Oh wow,

Michelle.....that is so cool. It has been awhile since I experienced that with kids. Even as an adult I probably don't experience that as much as I should.

Speaking of new words and reading......there is a great leadership book out now called...."Remarkable Leadership" by Kevin Eickenberry. It is such a breath of fresh air in the self-improvement arena.....if I hear someone mention Think and Grow Rich one more time I will throw a shoe thru my picture window. Not that it is not a great read. But unlike the Bible which is often hard to understand and apply.....that fount of knowledge TAGR has been improved upon several times.

Perhaps You will enjoy it. Oh another thing that is remarkable is that there are bonus chapters and updates which are available on the Web. Kinda cool a new publication with extended downloadable footnotes.

Isn't it nice when the ice goes off the rivers and lakes, and every thing is in bloom and alive. It just seems like a new beginning. Spring and fall are my favorite times of the year. Don't like the heat too much.

I can also remember when I could look out and see deer until the area got developed...don't see them in the yard anymore. So in order to get my wild life fix, we go to Glacier National Park every September. What a wonderful place.

Have a great day and keep up the wonderful thoughts!

Chocolate and my family together - now we're talking!

I don't know if there's any truth to it, but when I was pregnant with my first son, I craved dark chocolate like crazy! I wasn't much of adark choc. fan before, but I couldn't get enough being pregnant. Now, my son is a choc. hound - and he will chose dark over milk. I wonder if they're linked?

I like to smile and make others laugh and smile. It feels great. Laughing and smiling are contagious and once you or others start, its hard to stop.

I like to help and encourage others. I love to inspire people and get them to do things that they wouldn't otherwise have the courage to do.

Life is great and I love sharing happiness with others. There's plenty of it to go around and some need it more than I do.

know why, (well, maybe I do) because I'm the one who doesn't even come
close! ZERO or maybe 1 number - never the bonus ball...

First thing I would do is find the best tax/attorney/accountant I could
and figure out a strategy to minimize the tax burden. I would do this
even before I accepted the money!

Then I would relieve my mom from all of her debt, donate to my church and credible children's charities.

I usually don't spend a lot of time filtering ads, but today one on my sites had an unusually low click

through rate. I checked it out and and there is one ad pretty spammy ad taking up many of the ad spots.

Even though it is the same ad text, they are using many different URLs.

We also some times came across many sites which offer Free Online Advertising, Free Online Marketting,

Free Internet Marketing, Free Advertising...etc. Are they provide the services for free??

Is anyone else having this problem? The topic really isn't even related to my site very much.

What makes me happy is being able to voice my opinions, no matter how stupid haha. Honestly, what makes me happy is family. I have a big family and I always find it great to see them. I think in life that if you have a family then you can never truly feel alone. My brother has always looked out for me and definitely my parents. I am however so close to my cousins and it feels we are best friends. I think happiness can be found in family and relationships. When you have someone to share your life with it becomes that much better.

A few things come to mind. The fist one will always crack me up, my oldest who is now 4, when he was 2 had quite the attitude. It has only grown. LOL. Anyways, he was being a total stink pot and sassy, only 2 barely 2 at that, and I turned and I said "what did you say" (I don' remember what he actually said, but I know I was mad) and he said "um... you're beautiful mommy, and looked at me all charming with his big brown eyes and huge dimples. What a smart alec and charmer, and only 2.

The other thing that cracks me up and always brightens my day is my one year old. She absolutely loves music it doesn't matter if it is elevator music or the beginning of an infomercial, a movie preview, what ever, she just starts dancing. And she has moves!! It is hilarious!

Aside from the "normal" things, you know, a tender hug or a wet kiss from your child...hearing "I love you" from someone who REALLY means it...

I must say it makes me happy when I look out over the Susquehanna River at dusk and the beautiful colors leap across the sky over the horizon...yep! The beauty of creation!

Plants. I know, I'm a bit strange, but there's nothing like tending to a garden of your very own and watching them as they bloom. Or walking through the few patches of wilderness and stumbling (not literally, I hope) upon a bright and exotic looking flower. Or watching the trees grow those bright green stems ever so slowly, blossom into color, mature into a beautiful emerald green and then into a crisp orange, red and/or yellow. I love all plants, even cacti. The sight, smell or even feel of a plant can cheer me up in almost any situation. ;)

The other day my daughter was throwing a fit because she was really tired. We were about to go eat and go bike riding as a family and I finally said she couldn't go. She we stayed home while dh and my oldest went. When I finally put her to bed that night she said "Didn't you have fun tonight? I did because I was with you." Awww! Somewhat counterintuitively, one of things that makes me happy is dealing with problems. It's no fun at the time, but there's a real sense of achivement and capability that comes from successfully sorting out a tricky problem. Oh, and I quite like beer and chocolate toosmileys/smiley1.gif

Your goal is to do the work in front of you (mourn and grieve) not to be happy. you have had something happen that creates sadness. your job is to feel that sadness to its fullest extent. only when you have completely felt the depth of that sadness can you truly be happy again. trying to circumvent or avoid the sadness will leave you trapped by it forever. be sad. mourn and grieve. feel lost. cry and journal and sing and dance and wail and pound and hit and just absolutely feel and express your sad feelings.natural shampoo (http://www.zenagen.com)
