My neighbor is African America and consultant and likes the RE9. She runs a salon out of her home and her clients like it as well.
I know we dont have anything made just for ethnic skin types but thats the beauty of our skin care it's made for anyone!

Would she be willing to give it a try if you give her a sample or demo kit?
I hope you are able to get a testimonial from someoneit may help her feel more comfortable abouttrying it!

Good luck!!

Hi All

My dh and obviously my kids are African American and love the Arbonne products. One of my downline is also African American and loves that Arbonne has foundation that meets her needs (right color). The sea salt scrub is particulalrly popular as people of color often get very dry skin. The key is too educate yourself about other skin types and it will help your biz. Diversity is the name of the game!

Keri..you nailed it by saying that!! Thanks for all of the replies. I am in an area where a lot of my potential market is black. I am really going to try and grab some diversity in my biz...if for nothing else but personal growth!

I am black and I use the RE9products and I love the results! My skin is soft and smooth and my complexion is more clear and even than before I used the products. I actually hardly wear foundation anymore.

I've never tried any of the other lines but the RE9 works just fine for me. The products are for all skin types so I don't think she'll have a problem.

My mother in law is African American and when I first mentioned Arbonne, her response (without askingany questions or looking at a catalog)was that it was not formulated for African Americans. I replied "but it's skin right? Great! These products are formulated specifically for SKIN!" LOL, it took her a couple of months but she did try it and what do ya know? She ordered the whole set, the Deep Cleansing Duo, the Host Gift (Body Serum & Lotion), AND the Awaken Sea Salt. She bought eyeshadow & some other things with her $100 for $20. She then handed us 8 referrals!!

My dh loves the NutriMenC and of course everyone received Arbonne for Christmas & we are getting great feedback.

ETA: My dh just called and said his brother called to tell him that his wife (we just did the drop off 2 days ago) is raving about the RE9 and is going to lunch with a group of ladies today & intends to share her experience. It seems she can't stop talking to her husband about how greatit is. I am looking forward to this pick up!!

I'm African-American, and I've heard the "this isn't for 'black' skin" too. However, I use what works for MY skin. I've used Noxema for the longest to cleanse my skin (supposedly Nox is for white skin); some would say that Avon's ANEW skin line for white skin, but with the exception of combatting oily skin, I haven't had a problem with it.

I'm trying out the RE9 now and so far, it's a winner. smileys/smiley1.gif
