Hi ladies,
I just went to Success and one of the presenters talked about just having FUN at the spas. I have fun at my spas and the guests seem to have fun, too. But I've never actually been to another consultant's spas so I totally am doing this off the cuff. My recruiter (and unit) are kinda low key while I am upbeat etc... I think I worry about making sure I'm explaining the products correctly too at the spas instead of just trying to have fun.
So how do you have fun at your spas? Anything specific? I appreciate it, thanks! Deb

Deb-

If you are an upbeat type of person that energy will radiate into your spas. Above all, be yourself- don't try to "do" someone else's spa- this is your business so make it what YOU want it to be. You sound like a neat person who knows how to have fun.I am sure you will do great. smileys/smiley36.gif

When I first started, I wanted to do my spas just like my recruitor but then I developed my own way of spaing and it works for me. They came up with the simple spa and I did not like it at all! I still do mine the way I began. I overheard some of the guests telling others, "She's good, ..wait until she does this..." So once word gets around about how you spa that is what people seem to expect. At least that is the way I found it here. If I try to leave something out then they say something like, "At the last spa you did this or that..." I want them to be happy and satisfied. One thing stressed to me in my training was- It's all about them-not me.

As for actual fun things- I have heard where some play Bingo, givedoor prizes for first guest to arrive, etc. Someladies even have a roll of tickets and when someone asks a question about a product or the business you give them a ticket. They can use the tickets for small prizes-whatever you choose the prizes to be or if they have more than one ticket then let them "cash" them in for a discount on a product. To boost bookings, I take products from the minis and wrap them. Sometimes I put two products together, sometimes I wrap one individually. Anyway, I place the gifts in a basket or onto the table at my spas and tell the ladies that they get a free gift if they book a party. It usually goes over pretty good too.

I have found alot of information on this board and got many ideas from it. If I hear or receive anything else, I'll get it to you. I hope this helpsa little.

I like to have the ladies pick an M&M and according to the color of M&M, they have to answer a question.

Example

Red- What would you do with an extra 1000.00 a month?

Brown- What do you do to relax?

Blue- What is your dream job?

Yellow- What do you need more of in your life?

and so on. This is an ice breaker and it gives you an oppurtunity to share about BeautiConrol, and learn about each lady individually.

Hope this helps.

Very cool idea Tess! I think I will try to implement that in my spa escapes and see what happens! M & M's are my favorite!

I change my spa escapes every so often so they remain fresh for me and that makes it more fun! Repeat Hostesses have no idea what I am going to do from one booking to the next. That makes it fun for them too!

Sometimes I will ask the hostessif she would like to have a theme spa party.Pajama parties arefun! I love to wear my rubber ducky pajamas and pink slippers.Sometimes I will havea contest to see who has the cutestpajamas. Nothing racy....we all have our favoritecomfy clothes we like to hang out in. Margarita parties, chocolate spas and other themes can make it fresh for your clients/hostesses.

It also could depend on your hostess! If she is abubbly person andvery talkative, she will take the lead in making your party lots of fun!

Gotta run, so have a great day!
