Has anyone ever heard of Humanbook.com? I saw a job post about it on rat race. Its an online address book.

I saw that also and started to apply. Then I remembered a similar job post a few months ago where they advertised for jobs but they were actually trying to get people to sign up tobuild up there membership. Since it is a social networking company and it's new, I think I'll wait to see how it goes first. I cant' see them needing CSR's and they've just started. They can't have that many members yet. I think it's a gimmick. If you apply, let me know how it goes.http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif Edited by: breezykewl

I did sign up - the job description on the site is different from what was posted other places - I don't have the qualifications or I'd
apply - they're looking for more than CSR

I applied for HumanBook twice, but never heard anything back. Makes me wonder...

Yep. I applied to. I hope they weren't just collecting sign ups.

I applied on the 8th of August and have yet to hear anything. I've sent 5 follow-up letters. When I applied I found it on Craigslist, and it was advertised the same as on the site. I've also tried contacting someone through the feedback box on it, probably about 2 weeks ago, and they have never gotten back to me. So I don't know, possibly a sham to get people to sign up. Who knows.

I applied this summer for the CSR job and was very excited about it. Then I did a little research and found out that they placed the ad all over the country on Craigs List and a bunch of other places. The fishy part was that I needed to register with Human Book before I could submit my resume. Frankly, it left me feeling a little violated afterwards.http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif I don't think they have any intentions of hiring any at home people and I agree that this is there way of trying to get names for their database. Not cool.
