You could offer Re9s at Buy one get one free.

Is it possible to take a look at people who attended or purchased through previous classes? Perhaps they need to reorder, or maybe by now they're loving their products so much they just have to host a presentation and share it with their friends. Maybe host a special event for your wholesalers and/or clients. Or, start learning how to talk to strangers. Here's a great one: "Hi, you look really familiar, do I know you?" They'll say "No, I don't think so". You can follow with, "Are you sure? Have you been to an Arbonne presentation lately?" And you've just opened the door for them to ask you what Arbonne is. Even if they just say "no", you could say, "oh, sorry about that. Are you familiar with Arbonne?" And away you go! Desperate times call for desperate measures! I hope the more veteran consultants here can give you a few better ideas.

I saw a great Volume building tip but you need to run it like a raffle, it can be done as a fundraiser or just for yourself.

You sell chances to win an RE9 set. To get a chance, they must buy a full size salt scrub for $30 (which is about retail + tax & shppg). You must sell 100 of these to make it work.

you order 80 salt scrubs in the regular order and the other 20 in hostess specials, plus the RE9 set. (there is $14 left)

I put in the order to calculate.--You order 80 scrubs for the discounted price of $1352 which adds up to $2080in volume)
>>then you use the 8 host specials($100 for $20----$80 worth of products for free)to order 20 more scrubs and one RE9 set (or equivalent in products) to raffle off. There is $14 left for a blush or eyeshadow or something, whatever!
>>
>--the host specials cost $160 , tax is a whopping $147.55, shipping is $19.99

you make $1210 profit, which i offered to the group I am doing a fundraiser for (mission trip to Africa), and get $2080 in volume (and your override). then you are only $420 away, and just by contacting people about the raffle, they may want to place an order, offer 25% off or something.

The cool thing about a fund raiser, is people are wililng to support, and they get a great product they can use for themselves or a gift--and valentines day is coming up, so you can push it on guys, too!! Call the hubbies and say, Your wife loved this and I am running a fundraiser, you can support a good cause and get your wife a gift...Edited by: anet

I pm'd Lisa this idea. I thought I would post it to the board also asanother way to offer the sea salt scrub raffle....
30 sea salt scrubs and 2 RE9 sets each with Scrub and Masque included. They will pay $28 which covers Retailplus tax and shipping (even wholesale buyers will have to pay retail as that's how the winner(s) get the RE9 products) so 30 people x $28 sea salt scrubs = $840 and you'll see the grand total of the order entered this way is $840.75 -- so you're out of pocket cost isa mere75 cents for $1,020 Retail Volume. Out of your 30 people, you could offer 2 winners or have 1 winner and keep an RE9 for yourself. or you could interest someone into "hosting" this and taking orders for 30 sea salt scrubs and earning an RE9 set while still having 1 winner. Do not order this first, offer to this everyone and either make a deadline or tell them that you will place the order and declare a winner as soon as you have 30 people paying $28 per sea salt scrub.

this is how you would order this........

6% sales tax! That's nice! Ours is 8.5 smileys/smiley5.gif

I think this is a GREAT idea and I am going to pitch it here at the college I work at as a fundraiser for their overseas missionstrips in the summer.

the way mine is set up,1 in15 chance to win RE9+scrub+masque, it's only set up to get $1020 volume. You will make no right now money with this, as it's intended to help boost volume or as a way for a new consultant to reach first step district, get 30 people using product, and use host rewards for themselves to get started.

If your sales tax is different, then you can enter the order the same way, and just divide the total by the number of sea salt scrubs to come up with a price.

I haven't tried the Sea Scrub. Is it that good that you can get 30 people to buy?

So then does the final profit go to the organization?

cindi8d
01-11-2006, 08:42 PM
the sea scrub is awesome!

I figured it out for sets of 100. For every 100 sea scrubs they sell (at $30 each...that includes CA tax ans shipping) I will give them $1000 towards their team from the profits. There is about $400 left after that. Sounds likea good plan to me...

LM- I respect your efforts in finding ways to boost your volume. Just a suggestion, perhaps you should not only focus on boosting your volume, but really putting yourself out there and finding some BBs to help you out. Even if it is just a little bit of volume here and there.

I would hate for you to be in the same position next month. Do you have any presentations lined up for next month?

Hey Lisa! Just want to encourage you, and everyone, to DON'T GIVE UP!!! You never know when you are going to meet your next, or 1st, BB. I have been kinda discouraged lately b/c I don't know many people and wondering how I am going to grow my business. Well, I met w/ a lady last night that I had called from my guestlist of a party back in August who didn't attend. We have been trying to get together, but the holidays made it kinda hectic. Anyways, I was blown away by her! She had Business Builder pretty much on her forhead! I havn't had that happen yet where I met someone and just knew they would be perfect for this business! So, don't give up, get out there, go over past guestlists! And, give everyone a chance! I was kinda hesitant last night to bring up the business side of arbonne until she started asking me about the compensation. I have learned my lesson!

I was browsing the Arbonne site today and found that over 2900 people</span>
promoted to DM in December! So, how long will they get to keep
that title? What is the DM maintanence. I haven't looked at the
compensation plan for a long time.

When someone promotes, they have a 2 month building period where all of their volume goes into their Performance account. They get to keep their title through this process. After that, there is a $2500 per month retail volume for maintaining the title. Of course the objective for many once they attain the title is to keep up the momentum &amp; qualify for Area Manager.

nbrendal
02-01-2006, 05:29 PM
Well the first 2 months after you promote is your building period, then
efter that maint is 2500 prv/month. I am in the same boat she is for
February, but I will be workin it hard!

I think if you can get the guys interested into the business part of it, "the numbers". They quickly grasp how this is so achievable. <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Not topick onour gender, but we seem to get much more emotionally involved and do not take rejection quite as easily. If a guy hears a 'NO' all they think is 'who's next on my list?’ Unfortunately, I take the No's much more personally, but we have to remember they are saying no to the products/business not to us.

On another note, the key to this business really is duplication! The quicker you duplicate yourself the faster you move up. I’m looking into a cloning machine! HaHa!smileys/smiley36.gif

We do something like the ReSults. My upline ENVP created it and it is approved by Arbonne. It is called Get Paid to Shop. I just show people how to get great products and give that discount to friends and family and make the 4% at consultant level. We use Don Faila 45 sec. presentation a lot. I just started listening to Brillant Comp. I have it out in the car now.. but I will post the people who recorded it later. I did shows in the beginning as I was coming from another Party Plan company. Happy to say I make more in the last year with Arbonne then I did with a year with them. I grew up on Arbonne. My mom has been with them for 15 yrs.. she always stayed active just didn't always build a biz. I have had men look at joining and have men under my mom (my AM). They don't care about products or looking good as much.. they care about the numbers. They understand leveraging your time and money. I do have men that love the products too. Depends on the skin type.. My hubby loves the NutriMin C, NutriMen C and a little of the reg line. He mixes like I do. Depending on the season. He also enjoyed the SKY for men this holiday season.

Another great book I read is called Gung Ho. My upline AM did an On Purpose Group and we read this book and learned how to apply it to Arbonne.. So many great tools you can use in Arbonne too.

Hope this helps... GOOD LUCK LADIES (and GENTLEMEN)!!!!

I completely agree.. Men don't get attached to the potential someone has. They just keep going forward.. ok that was a no whose next. We have to remember (as a guy in my group said this past Sat.) We have a Gift and that gift is Arbonne. They can choose to accept this gift or not..

The most important thing any of us can do is to get trained. Our retail volume (and paycheck) directly reflects our skill level so if we want professional results, we need to get professional training. I went from $5500 in December to $75,000 in January because I spent a lot of time upping my training. Go to www.danijohnson.com (http://www.danijohnson.com)

Kristigirl

She trains on how to make millions in network marketing. She went from being a broke cocktail waitress with $2 to her name to making $250,000 her first year. She doesn't like to be called a "motivational speaker" but she sure has been motivational to me!! She teaches on prospecting, closing, training, growing, building, etc, etc, etc. I think she gives all of that info on her website for free because she truly wants to help people. It's awesome.

Yes, it is a REQUIREMENT for my team to plug into her site. I bought the NC CDs and the scriptbook, they're both great. I would start with the scriptbook because it tells you exactly what to say in different situations (cold calling, talking with a prospect, following up, closing the deal) and all you do is read the script. I like that.

Once I make RVP I am going to be attending as many of her conferences as I can, my team is already planning on going to the LV one in March. I will be encouraging them to go to as many as they can.

We don't get paid for training our team so I really appreciate the fact that I can outsource all of the training to her.

Kristi -- I want to thank you so much!! I listened to call after call this weekend from Dani. My faith in God has directed my business thus far and hearing some of Dani's Christian based training sessions were wonderful too!! As soon as my arbonne check comes in this month I'm buying the 6-steps and script books, I've asked my team to join on her call tonight as well. I just wanted you to know how much I really appreciated your sharing Dani with me!!

Ok, maybe I am going overboard here and maybe this isn't appropriate. I don't mean to offend anyone either, so please don't take it that way.

I am just wondering what God has to do with Arbonne? I checked into Dani's site and while I do respect her religious beliefs (and all others) I cannot seem to realte God to Arbonne or to any other business venture.

I am sorry, but that makes it sound very cultish. I would use caution by using these terms in this opportunity. If I was approached and someone told me that God or the Lord has directed their business or anything of the sort- I would be very turned off and probably not join.

Again, I am not looking to offend anyone, just trying to understand.

Jennifer,

Rita Davenport herself talks about God often and how He works in her life. I think it would only turn cultish if you start requiring people to believe in God or to pray at each appointment or something. Rita obviously brings Christianity into this business, but it certainly isn't a requirement of doing business with Arbonne.

I guess it seems so normal to me because AtHome America makes their Christianity plain to see. Our mission is to serve God first, then family followed by business. Quite frankly, I love the freedom of being able to share how God has brought me to where I am today when it seems appropriate. You can usually tell when talking to someone if they would be open to sharing that with you. I have actually found more and more people searching for avenues to express their faith, and they love that some businesses allow them to do that.

Well, I guess I am in the dark here. I do not believe God brought me Arbonne, nor do I feel he/she is helping my business.

I am not religious, raised catholic but I don't practice. I think of myself as open-minded and maybe I am not being so. I just don't get how God relates to this opportunity? Whether or not Rita talks about God is neither here or there. I don't get how someone's faith in God could direct their business?

I guess in all of the jobs that I have had in my short career, I have never heard anyone reference God or relate religion to their success with the company, employees, etc. I just find it very odd. All of a sudden now I am hearing it?

Jennifer,

I'm sorry if it sound offensive or cultish to you that I am thankful for having God in my life and in my business....but that is MY belief. I have ran the corporate rat race for over 20 years now...and after praying for God to allow me a career where I would have more time to be with my family I was introduced to Arbonne. I truly believe that he put this opportunity in front of me and that through my faith in Him I will succeed. God promises things to us that we can achieve if we have faith in Him. That is how I approach my business.

I am not by any means telling you that you too have to have God directing your business. It is my personal belief and nothing more than that.

You don't have to apologize. I am just trying to understand. I am not saying that you can't believe in that if you don't want to. I just don't see how they are related, and I probably won't ever. So, this post is dead.

I guess I just needed to get this off of my chest. Even though I was raised catholic, went to catholic school, studied a lot of different religions in college because of my major...a lot of my questions have always gone unanswered to my liking. I question a lot, and I question in depth. That's just me.

Dead post. Thanks for the insight.

I know God directed me to Arbonne. It makes sense that someone who doesn't believe in God couldn't understand that though. I don't think any of us is pushing our beliefs, we are just so thankful to be where we are and put the credit where we believe credit is due. smileys/smiley2.gifThere's no way I could have accomplished what I have this far without God's help. It's been amazing and I am very grateful. smileys/smiley1.gif

BTW, I'm so glad you are enjoying Dani, Chrissy! Isn't she awesome!?? I'm going to try to make her call tonight (both of them). It's pretty amazing that there are thousands of people on her calls every week.

I wish you the best and may God bless you!

I take EXCEPTION to you saying that "someone who doesn't believe in God" couldn't understand. I never ONCE said that I don't believe in God. You show me where I said that. In fact, I do believe in God. Just because I question this, doesn't mean I don't believe.

And, by you saying that you are showing that you are PUSHING your belief. You are criticizing me and saying that I couldn't understand? So, I would have to believe to understand?

I've listened to 2 of Dani's training calls and I love, love, love it. Thanks for posting the link.

I'm not offended by the Christian tone at all. (and I haven't been in a church over 20 years). As a matter of fact, at 42, I'm looking for spirituality.

I enjoy the Arbonne trainings but I like how direct Dani is. I also like the idea of her "neutral" trainings.

Thanks again!

Jennifer -- no one is trying to offend you. Like I said before, some us believe that God has done things for us and give him praise for doing so. No one expects you to do the same -- it is just our own personal belief. Please don't take offense where none is intended.

Kristi -- thank you again for hooking me up with Dani. I am also going to make both calls tonight so it will be the first time I actually get to hear her live -- I can't wait!!

No one is trying to offend me? "It makes sense that someone who doesn't believe in God couldn't understand that though." She assumed that I don't believe in God and therefore I am offended.

However, she apologized and I have accepted it. Time to move on.

Jennifer,

I think the comment where you didn't seem sure whether God was a male or female threw me off....? Whether or not you believe, or what you believe,is your own personal issue. I was answeringwhat I thought was posed as a question andI interpreted itwrong like I said. However, I think you need to be careful as well with how you word things. You seemed horribly offended by the statement I made and yet you've called us odd, cultish, and attacked me personally (calling me pushy and critical). Your overall tone isextremely harsh and cold. If you're going to call someone out as strongly as you did, you may first want to check yourself and your own tone. Just a thought.

Hi ladies,

I just want to say that I wish all of you the best of luck in your business!! I think we are all after the same goal, to behappy and successful in life and in our business. I think the most important thing is that youbelieve in yourself and in your business andI don't think it matters where that inspiration comes from. Just my 2 cents.

Wow! I was surprised to see my "Volume" post had so many comments and then I see it kind of went off on a tangent! What ever you believe or don't believe is fine with me, I just want to keep up my volume numbers!smileys/smiley36.gif I didn't mean to start such a heated debate. I wish everybody luck regardless what they believe brought them to Arbonne or what is keeping their business growing. I think religion is way too touchy of a subjective for this type of forum.

Good luck to you all!! Here's to a great February!

Feb. is going ok, scary thing is it's such a short month! I've recently mailed out a monthly newsletter focusing on the new products. We will see if that brings in any orders!

How's everyone else doing this month?
