Well, I hope this is where I should be asking this question. I am looking for a product (actually a Miracle Product) to help with Stretch Marks.
Here's the story: My daughter just had a baby. She is 15 years old. As you can imagine, her body was not ready for the changes that were to take place. The stretch marks she received on her breasts are the worst! We spoke to her lactation consultant at the hospital, and she was not very encouraging. She suggested to go to a dermatologist.
If you have a product/testimonial, I would really appreciate any help you can give.
Thanks!

From what I've heard, Cocoa Butter is a good idea, or Vitamin E.
Good luck, with the stretch marks and the new baby!

I've heard coco butter is good, also aloe vera is great to for healing the skin. Although the stretch marks will never permanently disappear, they will also fade over time. Good Luck with the New baby!

I am 23 and I can tell you I understand. I did cocoa butter with my first two it did nothing. I am doing Arbonnes Re9 NutriMinC body set and it is helping soooooo much. I am on my third pregs and the strech marks from the first two are going away. Here is my site.. www.passion4more.myarbonne.com (http://www.passion4more.myarbonne.com)
I can give you a list of ingredients if you want. The Re9 NutriMinC is patent pending which meansit has to do two things one be the only one with that formula and two do what it says..which means it works.. If you have any questions let me know.

I ditto this one! Use both frequently and it should help. Use the vitamin E oil. Stretch marks are hereditary. Some people get them more so than others.
We do have a couple oils from Watkins. Let me know if you'd like me to PM you will more info on them.
Good luck and congrats on the new addition! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif

I have heard great things about Avon's and it's not too badly priced. Never tried it myself, but I've considered it.

Keeping the stretch marks soft by using moisturizers will help ease the look
of stretch marks over time, BUT...
Stretch marks are in essence sub-dermal scars, and no topicaly applied
cream will help erase them. The only thing you might give a try is Mederma
for scars. Don't know if this will help, but understanding exactly what
stretch marks really ARE is helpful.

Thanks ladies for all the info. We are trying to scar treatment you get in the store, but I am leaning toward trying te re9 from Arbonne. I sent a request to see if there was a rep in my area (Jacksonville, FL) so we could see if we could try a sample. I haven't heard back from that request yet, but will let you know how it works!
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

Debbie,
Also ask your Arbonne consultant for a sample of the rejeuvenating cream. It is great on scars and stretch marks!

Debbie--
in all honesty, nothing will work that well. There is no miracle. You may get it to fade a little, but it's marketing. I've tried stuff that "swore by it", and asked my GYN. If anyone would know, I'd trust him. Even my brother, who is a Plastic Surgeon agrees. The time to treat it is while it's stretching. They said afterwards, it's a mommy trophy, unless she wants surgery.
It is unfortunate, but all of our decisions have both postitives and negatives. This is one thing many of us need to endure.
Best of luck! Your daughter is very lucky to have you,

Debbie,
You are right. There are no miracle cures. But there absolutley are products out there that can help improve the condition of your skin, and improve the appearance of things like scars and stretch marks. It depends on the individual, of course, but even a small improvement can go along way to helping us feel better about out appearance.
Just my .02!

Point well taken. It's all what we are looking for. smileys/smiley36.gifI just don't like it when people set expectations to heal all, when in reality it will help all. Especially for someone who expects it to go away, when in reality it will get better, but it will always be a reminder.
