Can someone just give me a basic overview of Arbonne? Is anyone successful? Is this a better opportunity than Mary Kay? What's the commission?.......

Thanks in advance.

Just a quick overview for others who may be interested also. Arbonne has a wide variety of products including skincare, makeup, aromatherapy products (lotions, sea salt scrubs, etc.) nutrition (daily supplements, colon cleanse, heart formulas, etc., and a diet line. Our products are botanically-based using the best and most of nature possible combined w/ the best of science technology. An example of the science techology being nanospheres used in our anti-aging skincare line. So many people are successful reaching the top level anywhere from one year to 5 years. It all depends on you and what you put into it. But our success opportunity is very achievable and the comp. plan is extremely generous. I personally think it is a better op. than MK for me b/c we offer more product for everyone in the family and I personally love our products. Much easier to sell if you truly love the product. In a nutshell, our comp. plan is 35% of the retail profit, plus at consultant level you get an additional 4% override of your personally sponsored consultants. Anyone can be a consultant for $29, even for personal use w/o having to sell anything. Once you reach District Manager, you then get 8% override on your personal orders and those under you. It keeps going up from their and is a bit more complicated to explain as you enter different downlines and generations plus different bonuses and savings. For example, w/ every $250 retail order you can get an add'l $100 of product for $20. That is an 80% savings.

In my opinion, Arbonne is a much better opportunity than Mary Kay. Why? It hasn't hit critical mass which means very few people have heard of the company. Also, Arbonne focuses on health and wellness products. Mary Kay is more cosmetic. Arbonne products are designed to work from the inside out, I don't believe the Mary Kay products work that way.

If you are looking to join Arbonne, I would strongly recommend joining a group in your local area because Arbonne is best worked through a team and not individually. If you've already signed up with a distant team, I'd suggest contacting local Arbonne reps that are willing to share training sessions with you. With Arbonne, you WILL GROW PERSONALLY and it is a life changing decision. I would say Arbonne is 90% personal growth and 10% products. As you grow personally, your success in Arbonne will shoot through the roof.

I wish you much success!

I will second what Lisa said about a team locally is the way to go! I love my upline, but she is in another state and I wish I had her here more!

I am builidng my own team, though, and being forced to become a leader on my own...

I'm in MO and myupline is in Ohio and we are doing great!! There are other teams I could have joined closer to me but the success of my upline and the way they approach the business made them the better choice. I am glad I made the decision to join their team even though they are in another state.

Like most things, you get out what you put in. I know your interest lies in recruiting, and I thinkthat sponsoring is an excellent approach to maximize the financial rewards in the long term. Your upline can assist you in learning the system, but ultimately it is your activity that will get you where you need to be!

Read "45 second" to get a grasp on MLM and sponsoring. Then read everything you can get you hands on regarding personal development and MLM. I have a list of favorites. PM me and I'll share with you. I'm sure many others would be happy to share as well.

Arbonne has an excellent comp plan. I'm sure Mary Kay does as well. From what I gather, there are some differences, but I don't know enough about Mary Kay to compare/contrast. Whatever company you choose, Love the Products and use them yourself, becasue it is your enthusiasm and excitement that will rub off on others. Then you won't be able to HELP sponsoring a star team.

Good Luck!!

Lisa - I must disagree with you. I am in California and my Sponsor is in Tenn. We communicate all the time. I have nothad anytrouble.

There are pros and cons to having a team close or not. If the team is good enough and there is enough support, it doesn't matter where they are. I also have grown more than I probably would have if I had my VP here. but I listened to this Hanna DUgan call about going with her recruits to meetings, and being right there to get them started, and that would be nice, too. But it is up to me to build the team I want her locally so we can do that kind of thing and support each other.

It is true that a strong team is more important than a local team. If you can't find a strong local team, it is better to sign up with a strong team in another area. As long as there is constant communication between upline and downline, the seed (recruit) will grow and prosper. I was lucky to find a strong team right in my neighborhood. However, some people need to have person to person contact with their team. Others are more independent. It really depends on you.

I am an EAM from Canada and because Arbonne consultants are sometimes few and far between I have to do a lot of long distance sponsoring. It can be hard if you have no local trainings or Discover Arbonne meeting in your area to bring guests to but it can be done. I know my uplines sponsor is from the States and they had to talk on the phone alot!smileys/smiley2.gifEspecially now with the Arbonne University online and learn and burns, there is alot of training available so it is easier.

Like Anet said...there are positives & negatives. Just like there are to everything in life. What's interesting about Hannah is that she is right there with her recruits every step of the way except she does it all on the phone pretty much! So she is able to sponsor in her local area & remote areas & teach the same waywith everyone. Duplication is key!

Anet- you'll hear more detail like that in the second call!Edited by: Soonergirl74
