Hi Ladies! It's been awhile since I last visited. My husband was sick the better part of this year ( cancer scare), and I needed to focus on his recovery. I put rbon by the waist side and I really want to get back into it. <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
With the economy, real estate, groceries, gas prices, layoffs, cutbacks and so forth, has anyone's upline given them words of encouragement in this time of financial difficulty? I did some research on the internet and came across some good articles and they suggested that this is the best time to start a direct sales business because all of these people are looking to make extra money. But, what about clients? Many people do not want to do rbon or direct sales and are still cutting back on spending because of this. Don’t we need customers as well as bb’s to keep our business going? If the articles I read suggest this, then it hints around to pyramids by where all you do is make money from signing up people to do the business. I would love to get everyone’s feedback on this.
I love, love, love this company and have fantastic dreams of succeeding, but the anxiety gets the better of me! Maybe you guys can put all of this in perspective for me. Thanks!!!

When people can't afford vacations, new homes, etc - they pamper themselves with affordable luxuries, such as spa products, makeup, etc. If they can't go to the beach - bring the Sea to them via soaks, mud masks and salt scrubs.
People wash themselves even in a recession, and when they can buy one eye cream that will last for 6 months that is a great deal. THey are still using shampoo - why not have it be ours?

Gas is so expensive now, that shipping costs can be explained away as cheaper than the cost of a trip to the mall

Everyone who needs $500-$1000/month can start this business and if they are willing to work just 2 nights per week out of the home can earn that in their first months.

You may not sell whole skin care sets, but get people on one or two products each month - or ask them to hostess to earn the kit at a lower price. This is ok, because you will have to talk to more people to get your DM level each month and that equals many more repeat sales and referrals in the future!

Hope this helps
