Schedule a post convention host/customer appreciation event. Let them know they will be the first to hear about all the great new additions to your fall/holiday line up and all the new happening in the company. It is a great way to reconnect with your hosts and customers and add a show to your schedule. My host/customer appreciation shows were always fun and well worth the effort! This is also a great recruiting event, just before school returns and the holiday shopping bonanza starts!
Be sure to take good notes and if possible buy the new items to display!!

What a great topic. I am going to my first convention this year. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I was told to bring an extra bag to carry all the free product giveaways!

This year I am going to take a camera along so I can take pix of new products and PPt slides.
I also want to show people how New Orleans is doing so I'll take lots of pix of the city, too!

Take lots of pictures of everyone having fun, recieving awards and
handling product. Put them in a snapshot book to bring to shows with
you, it is a great recruiting tool. Plus if you are a leader it is
great to have pictures of team members to send to them thanking them
for attending, letting them know you were so happy to meet them/ spend
time with them, etc...
