What is the difference between the Extra Strength Masque and the Re9 DeepPore Masque? Has any one tried them both? What do you like best?

The Re9 has the anti-aging elements, where the ex. strength does not. I prefer the ex. strength masque. It seems to be thicker, which in my mind means it is better...but that is only in my opinion!

The RE9 made my face burn and turn red, almost like the thermal fusion masque, but painful. IT is not supposed to do that, right? I haven't used it again becauseof that, it hurt!I like the mild masque, but I have very dry skin, and it is gentle.

I like both.
The extra strength masque gets really really really, um... squeezy!smileys/smiley36.gif Sorry, couldn't think of a good word for it. Last night I did it on my t-zone and have you ever seen those nose strips for snoring that open your nasal passages? That's what it felt like across my nose. smileys/smiley36.gif I cannot do my entire face unless I'm alone because I can't talk or laugh with it on, my husband said once that it looked like it was pulling my cheeks up.smileys/smiley36.gif
I use the RE9 one more than the other one. It's not as "squeezy" as the extra strength but it sure does a terrific job.smileys/smiley32.gif
I've never tried the mild since I don't have dry skin.

I like the xtra strength because it seems to really pull out those deep impurities. I have always had a problem with large pores & blackheads & this seems to address those problems! It does burn my eyes until it dries. I haven't tried the re9 except for a sample because I love the xtra strength so much!

I have tried all three.. I am VERY Dry.. I don't like the ex. strenght much but love the Re9 and I use the mild here and there but preferr the Re9. The only time I used the Ex was during a pregs because my skin went crazy.

Thanks everyone! This forum is great! So good to get a variety of opinions. I love both of the masks but my skinis reallybreaking out at the moment (hormonal) so I think I will stick with the Extra Strengthfor a while. Can't wait to try the Prolief...hopefully that calms my skin....and hormones!!!smileys/smiley36.gif

Has no one else had burning with the RE9 masque? I looked like a beet. I use the other RE9 products with no problems...

anet- that's interesting, because I have super sensitive skin and have never had a problem with the re9 masque. I love the extra strength masque, but i do experience a slight burning with that. It especially burns my eyes if i get too close with ex. strength.
did you check the ingredients to see if you might be allergic to something in that particular line?

I have no known allergies, and the rest of the line doesn't bother me at all. I love the scrub, I got the duo when it was on special, and it was less than it owuld have been individually. I love the TFEM and the mild masque,so I am happy!

I just used the RE9 mask for the first time today and had no problems at all. I have very dry, very sensitive skin, so I was waiting for the burn after reading anets post, LOL! I felt tightness, but no burning or redness. I really loved the scent! Also, the tightness wasnt too much. Ive tried products in the past that I just couldnt wait to get off my face if you know what I mean. My face felt firmed and sqeeky clean, without feeling dry afterwards. Also kinda glowy, LOL!
