Wow what a bad day to be calling people! I did 109 calls and I only actually contacted 20. Everyone was hanging up or no english. I finally gave up. Hopefully tomorrow will be better........PLEASE!!!!!!

Yeah, this weekend was pretty bad. Most people were out of town I think. Hopefully now that the holiday is over it will get better, but it's always harder to contact people in the summer.

That is oh so true. I worked for a newspaper co in their call center and it was the same way. In the winter people burrow in and like receiving the newpaper. I do still think though that these companies should at least pay minimum wage and a bonus for the credits. You do spend alot of time even if you are at home. And I cannot do anything else while I am working. I am tied to a headphone set and the lead is not that long. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley13.gif

Grams, what works for me is I have a small portable DVD player I bought off my son. I have it sitting next the computer and watch movies I know by heart (so if I miss a chunk of it, I'm not lost). I keep the sound down fairly low and have the subtitles going. It really, really helps pass the time.

That is a fantastic idea! And I have one that my daughter bought for the kids so when they are at my house they can watch their movies. I will hook that up tonight cause I plan on putting in four hours. Itried four last night but could only get through 3 1/2 lol

WoW! I think I'm going to have to contact my ICC and get my reserved hours changed to evenings. I just made 224 calls with only 13 contacts, 4 of which were yes. If I were you I would get on nights. I am averagingaround 4 an hour. Contacts are much much better. It will also be better once your trained on the other surveys. I did that for 1 1/2 last night and the contacts were great! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gifThat makes the time go faster. My reserved hours are Mon-Fri 6:00pm till 9:00pm but alot of the time I stay on till 10:00pm if the dialer keeps going.

I work evenings,you run into more no's.Evening people just want to relax.Morningthe contactsare home and enjoy freebies. I notice when Iworked daysbetter contacts less hung ups. But some onein the form statedit'sluck of the draw and how itdepends on you after so many no's keep postivesmile and let it dial. There are good daysanddays you make 10 or less. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gifim on now , in the evenings , and out of about 115 calls ive had 4 people to answer and 3 yes, the evenings looking blurry right now , but may get better in a bit hopefully , but i got one question i notice a lot of people state the do have reserved hours but continue to work till dialer ends at 10, when im on the minute i do my reserve hours it ALWAYS KNOCKS ME OFF , and dont let me do another second , minute or nothing , the only extra time i can get is on weekends , anyone know why is that?

Dont know tammiehouston I stay on till the dialer stops alot of times. One Fri I was on till nearly 11:00pm?? The only time they have cut me off is if I try to log on a little earlier than my reserve time. Its like u said before u can have good nights and bad nights.It just depends. I dont work any days so would not know about that. Did try to get on a few times while the 2yr old was taking her nap. No dice they kicked me right off so I havent tried for a long time.

Wow, now I find I do better in the mornings than I do at night. Then again with this business we have good days and bad days. I have had my day of frustrations with work, but I'll tell you when I hit a good day..WOOT!!! It sure makes that bad day seem so minut!
