My boss swears by this, but I am curious. Does this contain caffeine and how many calories per serving is this?
What is in the Alma rush to give you that lift of energy?

Thanks! I will look at your video.
So, it does not have caffeine in it? Will your site give me the calorie content? If it has no artificial sweetners in it, I guess they are using real sugar for the sweet taste?

Hi Sunnygrl! The Amla Rush has 6 grams of sugar per serving. It has 25 calories per tablespoon. It also has Blueberry, rasberry, cherry and prune extracts.I did some research on the amla because I had not heard of it. It is used a great deal in aryuvedic medicine. It might help also if you did a google search of Amla.

I finally got to try this stuff. Honestly, I must have used it incorrectly, because I do not see how people can drink this. I poured one packet in a bottle of water. The bottle had about 8 ounces in it. The color made me think it was going to be quite tasty, but the taste was like medicine and I could hardly tolerate it. My stomach just couldn't handle it. I didn't feel that energy that they talk about either. Has anyone else experienced this? It says to only drink it mid-morning and then late afternoon, but why is that if it is so good for you? Maybe I am not understanding the product correctly.

Another thing, my boss drinks it all the time. Should she not be doing that? Seriously, even as I sit here thinking about the taste, it makes me feel queasy. Should it taste like medicine?

Hi! I do not think it tastes like medicine.I have tried it plain and I have added it to water. I usually add it to a water bottle though. I tried it plain because that is how Jennifer Flavin Stallone drinks it. I thought it was too sweet though. Ihave not experienced the energy rush that many other users have. But I recently found out that Ihave low blood counts. So I will try the AMLA againwhen my problem is corrected. I have heard many great testimonies about the Amla Rush.Maybe you should try adding morewater or another drink to the AMLA. I hope that works. Otherwise, youmight need to return it.

Oh yeah, I forgot about your last question. Your boss should be drinking it once daily- 2 tablespoons.

Sunnygrl,
I noticed that you tried the packets & I really can't comment on that b/c I never tried it that waybut I've had a bottle of Amla Rush in my house at all times since we first tried it!

My family & I LOVE the Amla Rush (concentrated, comes in a bottle, not packets). My son drinks it everyday (2 tablespoons). It has a rasberry taste to it...kind of on the sweet side but not mediciney (?)at all. I've noticed a difference in my energy level but also in my stress level which I wasn't expecting. HTH

Hi Cyndi! I am glad you pay fineattention tothese posts because My response was based on the liquid Amla rush and not the packets. So, I do apologize because I have only tried the liquid Amla. I do now have a positive testimony. My 14 year old is always exhausted after school. She started this rigorous summer program. So I gave her some Amla rush to drink in her water. She said that it was the first time on which she did not haveto take a nap after school. So Amla really does work!

Hi Sunnygrl,

I take the Amla Rush Liquid Concentrate everyday (2Tblsp). I do like the taste of this one. I do not experience a rush after drinking this. What I have experienced is help with my sinuses. I have had a leaky fawcet for many years and get a sinus infection in the fall, in the spring and whenever I get the slightest cold. Since I have been taking the Amla I have not had a sinus infection and my nose does not constantly drip anymore. I was not at all expecting these results........SoI LOVE the Amla. note: this is not a medical claim...just my experience with Amla

As far as the Amla Powder packets go...Do not feel bad, I do not like the taste of it either. However, Ido occasionallydrink it sometimes with my lunch. I have a lower blood pressure and getsooooo tired in the middle of the day. I find that it helps me get through the day without feeling the intense need to take a nap.

It contains Guarana seed extract which is an herbal stimulant that contains a form of caffeine called guaranine. What makes guaranine unique from caffeine found in beverages is that it has aslower release.
Since the guaranine is released slowly, the energy boost that is experienced from guarana is not like that of coffee with its sudden rush and quick drop-off. Rather, it continues to escalate over hours.
While caffeine from beverages provides a short-lived energy burst that overheats and excites the body, guaranine has a cooling action that revitalizes and relaxes. The end result is more beneficial to the body than tea or coffee.
Amla alone is very bitter in taste but in the liquid form it is masked by all the other berries that is mixed with it and it tastes good. But inthe powder form, I agree, it does taste icky IMO.

HI Cyndi,

Iknow of it helping a few people with their sinuses. I really am not sure why it has helped.I am just happy that it has. Like I said before, this is my experience and not a medical claim.

I am not surprised that people do not piece the puzzle together when they are feeling good. It is more noticable when something makes youfeel bad. People do not notice the feeling of feeling good. Did I make sense with that?....lol.....I am not the best at explaining things.

I first notcied that it helped me when I ran out just before Christmas. Being busy at that time, I did not bother to order more for myself. Then New Years Eve, I felt a cold coming on for a few days, then...BAM.. it hit me. A NASTY head cold and sore throat so bad that I could not even swallow. My usual M.O. is to get a cold, then it lasts about a mouth before I finally get to the Dr. for an RX to get rid of my sinus infection. But this time, I stole a bottle of my moms Amla, promising to give it back to her (which I did) and within a week of taking the Amla, I was feeling MUCH better. It was the first time in years that I did not get a sinus infection with a cold.

I did not even noticeright away that it hepled me with my drippy sinuses. I did notice that I was not stuffing my pockets anymore with kleenex. I do attribute it to the Amla because when I stop taking it for about a week or so, I start to get drippy and stuffy again. So,I know for me it has helped.

I'm just popping in (I'm usually in the jewelry folders). I just started using some of the Seriesse products (Hi Kathy!! It's me, Elytehttp://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif).... I'm loving the A-line and Glyco products ALOT so far.
I'm interested in the S-force products - I definitely need an energy boost. Do any of you use the vitamin packs too? Do they really NOT upset your stomach? That seems to be my biggest issue withregular brand vitamins. And it's nice to see the testimonials on the Amla, I may have to try that too. Hmmm....

That is terrific about it helping sinuses. Yes, I tried the packets and will have to try the liquid next time. I did tell my boss that she shouldn't be drinking this through the day and she was puzzled. She said that the lady that sold it to her actually printed a sheet out of her booklet about it and it say's that the Alma is great to drink during a workout. Can you believe that? I told her that her sales consultant is terribly wrong and she needed to take it only once or twice a day. She uses the water amplifier too and swears by that as well. Maybe that is what she should be drinking for a workout? Not the Alma?

Sylvester Stallone drinks the Amla Rush during his workouts but you can drink it anytime. Seriesse recommends drinking mid-morning or mid-afternoon. The Amla Rush is available in 2 different ways- the individual packets or the liquid.

* The liquid is a concentrated. Only need 2 tablespoons per day.

* If you buy the packets, mix 1 packet w/8 ounces of water.

This is the info from the packet mix version:
Same High Potency ORAC Blend as the Amla Concentrate with the additional benefits of Green Tea. • Helps you feel energized. • Great beverage to enjoy during workouts. Green tea helps support oxidation and helps boost your metabolism during workouts. • Conveniently packaged for people on the go! • No artificial sweeteners.

HI Emmacmc!!!

I am so happy you are enjoying the A-Line! I love that line. And It is nice to see youhere inthe Seriesse section as well. I take the Multi-Vitamin everyday (at least I try to, sometimes I forget...shame on me). If you are worried about the multi bothering your stomach, I will send you a sample packet of them to try so you can test it out plus I will send you a sample of the Amla Powder packet as well.I will get it out in the mail for you tomorow.

Sunnygrl,
It is totally fine to drink the Amla powder during a workout. I put my packet in more than 8 ounces of water just becauseI do not like the taste of the powder version and I find that it cuts the taste down a bit when I add more water to it. I typically drink my Amla liquid in the morning and then if I do have the powder, I will have it around noon time to keep me awake for the rest of the afternoon. I probably would not drink more than 2 servings a day. Did you mean that your friend is drinking more than 2 servings a day? I would drink 2 servings max and then I also have the green tea drops in my water through out the day.
