View Full Version : Teacher Appreciation

Kiana's Mom sent me a private message about Teacher Appreciation Luncheons. I thought I would post it on this board for all to read.

First step is to find out who is in charge of the Appreciation Luncheons. Ask them for permission to come and pamper the teachers at no cost to them.

Set the mood when you get there. Play soothing music and darken the windows if you have a lot of them.

I use my heated BeautiControl neck wrap, eye pads and deep breathing exercises to give them a 5 - 10 minute relaxation time.I always letthem know that the neck wrapis a hostessgift for booking a party.

It is great to have door prize slips along with a few door prizes. On the door prize slips, aks for their name, phone number, email address, etc. I have underneath that a list of interests: Host an Image Party, Spa Escape, Start the Business, etc.Have fliers and business cards are also available for them to take home.

My goal is to get bookings that day rather than sales. Some schools will not allow you to sell directly at the school, but will allow you take orders.

My best advice is to keep it simple!

Hope that helps.

Good Luck to you!

Beauticontrol is another Direct Sales company. I think it's terrific that Vicky came to post this- all consultants of direct sales companies deal with pretty much the same issues: how to get contacts, how to book, building client base, team building, increase sales, etc. These are issues that you will face in any direct sales company-- whether it's skin care, kitchen ware, toys or home interiors. I often read the "other" company's folders for ideas and inspiration.

Vicky, Thank you soooo much for the great tip! It's much appreciated!smileys/smiley4.gif
