I am in the process of building my team with Taste of Home Entertaining. My team is spread throughout the country so monthly meetings at my home or other nearby location arent possible for the entire team. While I intend to have periodic meetings with my local team members, I want to be sure to provide my other team members with great training and support.

Besides the company training materials that are sent, does anyone have any recommendations on websites/books/etc that give good training materials or the like that I may be able to use?

Thanks!

Jaime

My team is a bit spread out as well, so along with local team meetings, I hold a conference call at least once a month for the rest of the team. This way, everyone knows what's up with the team and I get some training in at the same time.

Wish I had a website to recommend, but I'm afraid I don't have one! There is a book, "Build your business", (is that right?) I've heard is great, but I haven't had a chance to read it yet.

I will recommend "Build It Big". It was given to us at our company convention by my upline and it is a great book.

Also, at our last convention we had Christie Northrup aka The Lemon Aid Lady, as our guest speaker. She was wonderful and had alot to teach us. I recommend any of her CD's.

Other than those things, I have set up conference calls so that I can stay in contact with my team with TOHE.

Hope this helped,

Brenda

Have you guys heard of www.DaniJohnson.com? I ordered some training
CD's, and they should get here this week. She has lots of free stuff on her
web site, and I have been listening to her online audio conference calls...

Just to prepare you. She looks like Miss America, and talks fast, and goes
through a lot of material quickly, so be ready to take notes at a quick clip!

Enjoy!

Well, I think Patti does an excellent job of keeping all of us cross country
reeled into the team! Conference calls are great, but if at all possible
encourage as many on your team as possible to attend your national events
so that you can meet face to face...it helped me have a deeper "connection"
with those other BYB'rs that I only talk to on the phone and on email for the
rest of the year! Also, if you have more than one team member in the same
place encourage them to interact!

Watch for littledb on this site, she has ALL KINDS of info for you. She is in Vegas right now at a convention of some type, probably for her Discovery Toys biz. I also got a lot of info from Kitt Draheim (sp?), she is UNcommonScents on here... I know that both have information and I think even ebooks. These ladies are great resources and love to share!Edited by: mom4christ123
