As an ISD Record Searcher
II, you will be in a position of trust, a role that requires integrity,
confidentiality, intensity, commitment and pride in what you do for
your country’s defense.
You’ll find that every day is
different. Expect to spend approximately 75% of the time traveling,
completing record searches to gather information about applicants
seeking federal security clearance. Record Searcher II’s work will
entail travel involving record checks with local courts, law
enforcement agencies, educational institutions, employers, and
residencies. Also, Record Searcher II’s verify military records,
security clearances, birth and citizenship.
Because quality
training is essential, selected applicants will undergo an intensive
three-day program, conducted within your home, consisting of
self-directed learning and on the job training with experienced Record
Searcher II’s. The training is intense, but you will come out prepared
to handle one of the most challenging and important careers available
today.
Record Searcher II’s work from home, set their own
schedules and spend most of the time working alone. To be a successful
Record Searcher II, you must be self-motivated, highly independent and
available to work non-traditional hours (i.e. evenings and weekends)
according to the subject’s availability.

· Superior organizational and time management skills
· Advanced communication both oral and writing skills
· Strong computer and typing skills for writing narrative reports of investigation from the information you compiled
· A high school degree
. Prior record searching experience (preferred, not required)

professional and educational backgrounds become Record Searcher II’s.
Prior fields of our most successful Record Searcher II’s include
paralegal, court clerk, librarian, social worker, journalist, and
military personnel. If you have the ability to “talk to anyone,” and
demonstrate an elevated sensibility in communicating with a diverse
range of people from all backgrounds and cultures, you may qualify as
one our elite staff members.
Due to the nature of this
position, all applicants are required to possess US Citizenship and if
selected for employment must pass a pre-employment drug test and a
comprehensive background investigation that includes civil, criminal,
and credit checks and pass a pre-employment drug test and a

There are Residency Requirements associated
with this position, and applicants must reside in Morris or Passic
counties. (or be willing to relocate to meet these requirements before
time of hire)

Very Reputable Company. I use to be an Independent Contractor with them. I did background checks on people seeking employment.
Great company...and good people to work with. I was forced to end my contract with them because I was without internet for a while....other than that I would have NEVER ended my contract with them.
I want to ge back in soooo bad!!! Who ever can do it......Go for it!

I agree! Great company to work for. I currently work for them and love it!So if you live in the area, I would considered getting hired on.
