When I have a problem like that, I usually call the Geek Squad at Best Buy. Those guys will usually troubleshoot a problem for you over the phone for free. Then if nothing they suggest works, you can bring it in and let them work on it.
Usually, they have a good idea what's going on, and they can make suggestions over the phone. Sorry you're having computer problems. I lost my computer about a month ago. I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown. I'm on a different one now. But it definitely set me back in my work.

Charlala, I had this problem a while back with my computer and it just started happening all of the sudden. I did a system restore to a time before it started happening and that fixed my problem. I also went in and deleted some old programs in my add/remove programs and so far everything is working fine. Try that, and if you dont have any luck, you may want to have someone look at it or give Geek Squad a try.
Good Luck!
