I applied yesterday afternoon and got an email this afternoon to call to set up an interview. Does anyone who has worked for them before know if your credit report is a huge factor? I have pretty bad credit from when my ex husband left me with horrible bills and no job. I am starting to get back on my feet, but my credit is pretty gross. Not like huge credit card bills or anything, but just little odds and ends here and there like a phone bill and such.

It sounds like they're willing to overlook late payments, it's just items like charge offs, liens and judgments that will get you turned down.
Good luck!

I had my interview over the phone today, and she sent me the aplication forms and credit info via email to send back. I seriously doubt I will qualify after they take a look at my devistating credit, but I figure I will try anyways. I hate when companies think that just because you fell on hard times and had some credit issues, that you will then turn around and steal someones credit info. Anyways it would be the perfect job for me, but she said they have a pretty strict policy when it comes to the credit check.

I have an account with Higher One. I am in college and my excess loans are processed through them and put on a debit card. I am participating in their word of mouth program at school right now.

I applied with them and had my interview today. She sent me over the paperwork and I have to fax everything back to her tomorrow. I'll let you know what I find out. I'm in the same boat as you. My ex did the same thing to me but thank god I did not marry him. LOL!smileys/smiley1.gif</font>

At least you all applied. That's the important thing. You never know what could happen!!
One thing's for sure, if you hadn't applied, you wouldn't have a chance!!
I just recently applied for a writing gig that I may not be the best candidate for, but I went for it anyway!!
You never know...
Good luck everybody!!
