I have posted this one before, but it was so original, I had to laugh! We had a young lady tell us that she had made a deal with her husband when they got married that she would NEVER host a direct sales party. Seems his momma was a hosting ADDICT and he and all his brothers and dad (notice there were no sisters?) were always thrown out of the house for her parties.

Hmmm, wonder where that MIL lives?! smileys/smiley36.gifSounds like I need to give her a call!

By the way, I still talked her into having a party at her friend's house!

Gayle,

That is hysterical...poor guy!

When I first started, I showed up for a workshop and the lady's baby had a big blow out diaper and got it everywhere in the cribwhile she was making refreshements and the whole house stunk something awful...when the guests arrived a few minutes later, we all decided to postpone smileys/smiley11.gifEdited by: deannawebber

I my gosh Deanna, I was ROFL! I cannot believe it was THAT bad!! That is too funny! Too bad you weren't a candle lady and could whip out that lighter and drown out that scent!!

I had a client at checkout once tell me that she is too busy drinking and having sex to have a party of her own.

I guess that's what I get for telling the guests ahead of time that I will ask EVERYONE to host a show of their own at checkout so they should pick their best date or best excuse!

I just think it is funny how creative people get! Some people will try anything!

I have friends who sell for a couple major makeup companies and I am telling the truth, but it sounds lame whenever I say it... I am so allergic to anything on my face! I don't wear makeup and now even lipstick breaks me out. At least they can tell I am telling the truth since what you see is what you get on this face!
