Hi Everyone!
I know you all received this as part of one of the very inspiring emails from one of my favorite people, Bobby! I just love his always positive attitude.
I hope you are enjoying the best day of your life!

Here is that great email from Ellie and Joe ....man, this is the kind of email that just pumps me up!!!!!
Hey Guys,
It is 9 Pm & we just returned home from doing a Hospital Vendor day. We made $4900.00 in one day with our products during a bad economy & it looks like we will be adding 3 or 4 new distributors to our team as well. After the $10,000.00 Home show 2 weeks ago & this show today, I truly believe our products are inflation proof. I know recruiting is what this business is all about, but being able to make close to $15,000 per month cash while we are building this business is incredible!
I keep seeing postings on the message boards blaming a poor economy for a distributors business being down & that is just an excuse people use to make theirselves feel better. We need to make sure it is clear to everyone in the field that there is plenty of money to be made in our business if they would just put on their blinders & GO TO WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so tired right now & so excited about what we have with this Company that I had to share!!

hi Lori!
Isn't that an incredible email! It just goes to show what can happen when you totally believe you are in the right place, at the right time, with the best products in the world!
I met Ellie this April at the East Coast Event...she is a really neat lady and I look forward to hearing her speak (I am assuming this) at the Fling...really a hot ticket! She knows how to network, that is for sure!

It's all about what you are thinking--interesting title for this posted thread!
Is anyone thinking how someone can be a REAL team leader with candles when they are in so many other companies and businesses?
How can someone truly help people if they just spend their time joining every company out there, then enroll people to leave them blowing out in the breeze....interesting..think about it!!!

I have to tell you GBGVal, yes, someone can be a real team leader if they are in another company or two. This has been a hot topic on the NWM folder many times. I, personally, would never put all of my eggs in one basket so to speak. Think about this...What if you are a manager of a business. You have a staff to lead and make sure they are trained and do their job. Are you then saying that they shouldn't be able to be a leader in a home-based business?
What if someone needs a part time job? In this economy, I would never depend on one stream of income. Do your due diligence, research your upline. I trust my upline and believe that she will be able to help me at any time I need her.
Besides, I make my money in this business, and am responsible for my own actions. I am really not trying to be snarky with you. Really I am not. smileys/smiley1.gif I am just passionate about not leaving my financial freedom to the whims of one company. Look at what weekenders just did to their distributors. Just NOT fair.

GBGVal, I've been in NM/MLM/DS for a long time. I have been left hanging in the wind by uplines who've only concentrated on one biz, I've been left hanging with one company that went bankrupt, and I've had an upline member move to another company taking people above and below me with them, and effectively leaving my income at $0.
I do not think it is fair toimply thatsomeonecan not be an effectiveleader because they have more than one biz in their signature line.
I have personally been thinking on SOC, and/or CIB simply because both have value to me as a tool to build my candle biz. Would you call me ineffective if I offered those as options to help builda business?
What if your sponsor also has a J-O-B? Many do, but you do not see that in a signature line, would you trust that person to sponsor you?
I personally agree with Terri...

Hope you find what you are looking for.

I was talking to my husband about this two days ago and we both agree there is nothing wrong with multiple streams of income.
If you look at the wealthy...Donald Trump (real estates, books,
reality show), Joel Osteen (church, books, tours), Oprah (talk show,
magazine, production company)....they are all doing it. My pastor said
last week, we need to be imitators behaving like those who through
faith and patience are inheriting the promises. I dont know about you,
but I plan on imitating them.
T. Harv said that you must speak to millionaires and find out what they are doing and do what they do.
Robert Kiyosaki said you must have multiple streams of income.
For me, its all about time management. Each of us have the same amount
of time, 24 hrs, and as long as you are managing your resources, whether
time or money, I cant see why joining more than one company should be a
detriment to one being a leader.
Hmmm, I noticed you posted this same message under Lori's post in another folder. Lets build people up, encourage them and not be so negative.
Edited to add: I got so caught up reading what GBGVal posted that I lost sight of the topic. Anyway, when I read that e-mail, I got very excited and I am really looking forward to Fling and hearing the different speakers.

Suzette,
You are dead on right with your comments...hey, to each his own! I enjoy both of my businesses and give support to customers, and team members, alike. What I CAN'T do is build it for them...I can only lead by example and build myself up, learning all I can do be a good person and leader...
Oh, and I sure do look forward to meeting you at Fling; let's plan on connecting at one of the fun outdoor parties they will be having!
Something 'Uncle Bob' said the last time I heard him was this: when you point the finger at someone else...2 point back at you. I thought that was very telling...
