adding new team members to my team. I am at the point in my business that I am comfortable taking it to the next level. I was wondering if anyone buys leads and if there are any good ones, or how other people get team members other than asking existing customers, which I always do.

Booth events are a great way to introduce people to your business. I always ask something like "Have you ever thought about doing something like this" Or "Who do you know that would be interested in some extra income"

I see you are with Inspiranza, so make sure you are always wearing some jewelry from your collection- and when you get compliments mention your company- and then ask them if they know anyone who loves jewelry (who doesn't?) and would like to earn extra income- while wearing it! :)

The more you do it- the easier it gets. I find that I can incorporate Usborne Books into most conversations with strangers...lol.....it just makes my husband shake his head and smile when I have to catch up with him in a store- because I was getting/giving info from someone. :)

Best wishes!

Personally, I don't believe in buying leads.

You would be better off spending your money and generating your own FRESH leads by doing some targeted advertising directed at the type of people who would most likely buy your products.

Years ago I purchased leads because I was a newbie and didn't know any better and this is what I found:

Fake Leads
Old Leads
Stolen Leads
etc....etc...etc...

They were a waste of my time and money.

I think when you're in a business that promotes "Home Parties" you can't go wrong with always picking at least 1 or 2 people at each party to specificly invite to a sponsoring appointment.

I've also has TREMENDOUS success with getting leads from my blog and forum boards as well.

In casual conversation look for key words that people drop....looking for a job, want to work from home, etc.

Some of your best hostesses and repeat hostesses can be your best teammates too.

Keep networking online where you may encounter people looking. Of course networking here is good. Cafemom can also be a good place but it takes time to find those who are serious about starting a business.

I think you should go through your customer base first!!! The ones who already love the products will be the best reps.

I agree with not buying leads (did it - didn't work) and with going through your customer/host base first.

Contact these customers and let them know that you thought of them for joining their team. If they are interested in hearing more go through the interview process with them and then hopefully you'll be signing up your team members soon! And keep looking for two leads at every party you do!

I wouldn't buy leads. You could better use that money to purchase marketing materials such as flyers or other promotional material. Word of mouth and socializing though really is the best. I find that people would rather join a business when they speak to a real person about its possibilities vice getting an email.. I know I delete them!
