C'mon let's have show and tell time.

What is the most bizzare question you have received from a customer about the product you sell?

That's easy....

We sell Scrapbooking Products and when explaining to a group of customers that our paper was acid and lignin free and completely archival safe, one of the guests raised her hand and said

"Does that mean it would be safe to eat?"

Apparently she has had acid problems in the past. ROFLOL

LOL!smileys/smiley36.gif Patti, that is SO
true! I hear this stuff all the time: "You mean the paint is in
there?", "where can I get those sponges?", "do you have to buy those
stencils?", etc.!!! Seriously, people, it is all included; they
are all-inclusive!!!

I also love the "don't you sell Crayola crayons?"! Nope, our
products are exclusive to BYB and you can buy crayons anywhere!

I can't say as I can pinpoint one in particular, I've had some doozies, but my favorite is when I explain something and as soon as I close my mouth, someone asks the question I just answered. Like the burn times on the candles. "Our votives burn 15 hours"..."How many hours do your votives burn?" And isn't not like they're clarifying, they weren't listening. Usually the person next to them says..."she just said that"! So at least I'm not the only one thinking "duh!"

I always play the 60 second ticket game(they have to ask questions about the biz and get tickets) I use double tickets that can be torn in half for a drawing....

It happens every time..

One half is clearly marked KEEP THIS COUPON, but someone always ask....Which part do we keep? My answer...The part that says KEEP THIS COUPON. It usually gets a few laughs, but is even funnier when another guests tells them the answer.

I also always get asked if our jewelry is REAL Gold. My answer...Yes, They use REAL 18K Gold to plate our jewelry, we do not use artificial gold. (haha)
