I'm still trying to figure out the best hostess program for my clients and me. BeautiControl has a hostess program, but allow us to do whatever we want. They only offer hostess gifts with a certain amount of sales and bookings.
I know some people who give gifts and free stuff just for calling them with a guest list, having a certain number of people, etc... I don't want to LOSE money on the deal, but I definately want to treat my hostesses really well. I know people who've hosted other parties and only got 10% of the sales in free product. That is not acceptable to me, but I don't know if I should give them more than MY discount. (25-30%) So I'm interested in hearing what other companies and your hostess programs are. Thanks!

Big Yellow Box by Crayola's hostess program is: If the party has 5 seperate orders & $150 in sales then the hostess gets ~ $15 off of her personal order, 1 half priced item, a hostess gift worth $25 (which corporate pays for), and free shipping on her order!! Add'l 1/2 priced items and free products are earned based on sales at the party. Plus, if someone books at their party, the hostess receives another 1/2 priced item smileys/smiley4.gif

party for some reason or she only has 1 or 2 guests, she at least feels
she was rewarded with her free product. Sometimes, my smaller shows are
the best shows. I have had $400 pamper sessions with only 3 people in
attedance!

I always give a gift to the hostess during my presentation. Many Arbonne consutants give the Sea Salt Scrub. I change the gift monthly. In December I gave the Pampermint Set to all my hostesses.
