Hi Shaune!
Have you had a chance to connect with your upline VP yet? Our team does a combination of groups/parties and "Results". That can make a difference on what you want to start with. But plugging into their system or a local VP's system (if you are in different states) can be most helpful because you will get a lot of support and training in a way that is consistent with what you are doing.
@'s Result and Opportunity presentations are great at showing people what our business is about too. Have you had a chance to see or hear those given? Maybe you even heard them when you decided to start smileys/smiley32.gif.
We talk a lot about telling the @ story to 30-50 people a month if you want to move forward quickly in this biz but that everyone should set their personal goals and match the activity to that.
I have no idea if that answers any of your questions as I tend to ramble smileys/smiley29.gif LOL

Thank you ladies I will definitely look at Donna's website. What I love about this company is that everyone helps each other out and want others to achieve.

DO NOT start at $2500. There is no reason for that at all. It is our job to sell $2500 each month if we want to be a DM, and it should never cost that much. You can start with $29 if you have to and collect orders to buy half an RSVP and take the other half for yourself.
If you can afford an RSVP or more, to @ convert your home, that is great, but buying that much product with no plan to sell it is not ok
Collect orders then place them, don't buy in advance unless it is a great deal like whatever is on sale that month if you are sure you can sell it, like the bronzer this month is a big seller, so if you qualify, you can easiy resell that to make some 'right now" money
If you can collect $2500 in orders, great - but don't take that out of your pocket

Keep in mind as DM you don't have to personally sell $2500 per month, the orders of your(future) personal use consultants and/or business builders who are not yet DM will count towards that amount. (The ones who do reach DM will allow you to get a credit towards the $2500 amount so you still benefit from their efforts.)

This is totally true - it doesn't have to be PRV, however, if you want to grow to AM and above, you will want to get in the habit of selling that much because it means you are finding new customers every month, and those turn into BBs down the road
There is plenty of opportunity to just maintain at DM, and that is a great side business, so I don't mean to insinuate that it isn't, but if you want to move up, you should aim for that at least

Shaune,
I am so very sorry that you were encouraged to do this because you are right-it's not duplicatable and people not only get discouraged, but then have a bad taste about @. It's so great that you have the kind of integrity that others will want to follow.
Remember the key to finding BB is getting in front of people. Eventually you'll start to have people who want this opportunity. If not then look at your presentations (don't forget you have to talk about the opportunity to get people intersted). Obviously this isn't your entire presentation (unless it's an opportunity presentation) but that seed does need to be planted. Make sure you are asking them questions about themselves. If you don't get to know people you don't know where they are right now or what they might be looking for.
And don't forget to follow up. If you have someone who stood out at one of your presentations contact them and let them know you noticed them and would they attend a meeting with you to hear more about @. Then pick her (or him) up and drive to the opportunity meeting together, getting to know her more along the way.
And remember people will feel less pressured if you let them know that this may not be the time for them, but could they just find out more. Also maybe ask, "Do you know anyone who would like to earn more money on their own schedule? I'm looking for people to teach and train to go with me to the top of my company."
These are not canned questions, they geuninely reflect what you are looking for and what you are willing to do to help a new sponsor!
(I think I need to be following my own advice as I am rebuilding right now too!) http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif
Good luck and let us know how it goes!!!
