I am wondering what exactly to send to the candle entry persons that do not select the boxes to get more information?

I have been sending my standard sample pack including CD, brochure, scent sample and intro letter, but perhaps this is a bit forced??

I am curious what you are including in your sample packs (if you are sending them in this scenerio) when they don't actually request information?

Hi Deb, I dont send them a pack unless they check that they are wanting to earn money from home. otherwise, i think it may seem "forced" too.

I do so them an email (i can email it to you if you like) that thanks them for entering and introduces them to the products with a link to my site and i list the 3 ways they can make money and a link to the business section of the website.

Then i thank them again for registering and remind them to enter weekly.

Also if you notice at the very bottom of the entry it does say that i will be keeping them udpated on our products so if you want to send them a "drip" email it won't be considered spam.

I send them an email thanking them for entering and wish them luck. If they haven't checked anything, I ask them if they would like me to send them a brochure and sample scent. Almost everyone of them respond back yes. I do not automatically send because I think alot just enter to enter to win, they do not want to purchase or join. I know alot of people who will enter contest and care nothing about the product. Most of my feedback has been good and then I ask them to email me when they get the sample. I ask them if they liked it etc.
Good Luck everyone! Lets make this the best year EVER!

What do you send to your local contest entrants if they don't check off anything and don't win anything? Do you still invite to your open house or should I just toss?

Dont toss it!! Put them into an email campaign!! They may not have an interest now, but in a couple months they may decide to look for something, and your email may remind them of you!!!

I would tell them to re enter etc and that I was having an open house etc.. and would love for them to come and see in person how scentsational our candles are. Maybe offer them a incentive for coming..a free votive...maybe put a little coupon on your email that redeems for free votive. That way you know where they are from.
Just a thought> :)

OOooh I like the free votive coupon for the invite! smileys/smiley32.gif But they can only collect if they show up - maybe get 2 if they bring a friend or book a show! That isa good idea. I have some extra votives and that could work out well! OKThank you so much!
