Hello all & Happy New Year to everyone! Wow, 2006...time flies!

I recently had someone special order a jar of gardenia & she hates the smell. She immediately gave it back to my sister (who is a coworker). She said she always likes the gardenia of other candle companies. I decided to let her pick another from my leftovers.

Has anyone ever had this happen?

Does anyone need a gardenia by any chance??? LOL

Oh no smileys/smiley19.gifWell, not everyone will love every scent and as long as she did not burn it yet, I would definately exchange it for her. Maybe she was thinking of another flower scent? I am sorry that happened to you.

Sorry, I don't need a gardenia right now, but I will be stockingup on theflower scents pretty soon. Our beauty shop is selling my candles on consignment and she wants floral scents to add to them.

Question for the gang: What are the best selling florals or your favorite florals?? Mine is Lilac.Edited by: lovethiscandle

That is so strange. I've never smelled one of our Gardenia scents so I can'tbe sure on this.I'm wondering, because our candles are so highly scented, she may be used to a lesser scented variety. It may smell the same, but, if it's stronger, to her nose it may seem to be "different" and thus, not like the difference. Does that make sense?

I may be interested in doing a swap for your gardenia if you would like - if you are interested, just PM me and I will check to see what I have on hand that I could swap with you.

Best selling florals - believe it or not I don't sell many florals - then again I generally don't keep those on hand or else I'm sure I would have a best seller! My best sellers are fruity and clean scents smileys/smiley36.gif

Ow wow Chris.smileys/smiley4.gif I can't wait to burn Sunflower...mmmm....

It will take me back to sunflower and lavender fields in Provence, France, staying in a lovely bed and breakfast with home made breakfast on the terrace, on the way to a small family vineyard, then a lavender festival in a tiny French town...smileys/smiley9.gif... oopps, well you get the picture.

I love this "business" It can certainly take you"back" to special memories in your life.

Sunflower will DEFINITELY be in my next case of jars order!smileys/smiley2.gif

Thanks for the input everyone!

I have to say when I first smelled the gardenia, I didn't like it either. I met with her to exchange it today and she chose Raspberry Sherbet over French Lavender, much to my surprise.

I haven't sold any floral scents yet (except the gardenia) so I don't have a best seller. I haven't smelled Honeysuckle yet, how is it??? I love that smell!

Thanks!

Don't forget Green Tea!!! It is awesome!!! My sons teacher likes Gardenia. She didn't complain about it, so this woman may just be a fluke. I wonder if she burned it or not. Our candles are very strong smelling, right from the jar, better to fragrance your whole house with!!! Lesly
