Just checking out different things that I can do, but stay home with my baby boy. I do makeovers now part time for a salon, but their products are exclusive to them only. I love doing this, but don't love my hours. Can't afford daycare.
There are alot of wonderful lines out there right now. What makes yours different? I mentioned this company to my boss last night and she said the idea of a celebrity being the founder would be cheesy to some, especially right now w/the cost of living being outrageous, people don't want to help the rich become richer. As much as I don't agree with this, do you ladies find you run into that frame of mind from your clients?
What exactly is Nvesse24? I want to know more than that it is precious oils, I need to know what it is that makes it special. I feel when selling a product, I need to know exactly what ingredients are in them, because most women today do ask and are concerned. Especially my clients I have now, when I tell them I am going with another company, they are going to want to know WHY and ALL about the products.
I read that you need to sell $70/mth to stay active, is this correct? What exactly does that mean? I ask, because even right now, I have had months where women paid for a makeover, but yet, didn't buy a single product, would I be cut from Seriesse if that were to happen? What about ladies that I bring in under me? Can I be reactivated if I sell something?

Hi Sunnygrl,
I would like to commentabout someone thinking this company could be "cheesy" because the company is owned by a celebrity couple.
I do think many peoplemay think "that" of this company. I know my own husband did when I first signed up with Seriesse last year. I even heard the comment "the rich just get richer". I can tell you it made my blood boil. I signed up with this company because I used Jennifer'sSerious Skin care Linefor six years withgreat results and I loved the products.
I never once in my life ever even thought about joining an MLM company or doing anything where I had to get in front of people to sell something to them. I'd "GASP" at the mere thought of it. Being a Team Member of Serious Skin Care, we were among the first to be given the opportunity. I knew nothing about the compensation plan, nothing about who would be running the company....I mean NOTHING. All I knew was that I loved these products andI signed up.
In the past year that I have been in this company, I am truly blown away by the integrity and class of our co-founders and everyone in this company including the technology and support that is given to us. The products are amazing...I already knew that. But as far as our celebrity co-founders go, their celebrity status is not "the core" of what this company is about. It REALLY ISall aboutthe products.
Jennifer and Sylvester, with alot of hard work, have acheived great success in their lives and they have put their heart and soul into these products. Then they have generously handed them over to "the public" and basically said.....We have acheived success in our lives, now it is your turn. Take these proven products and use them to achieve success in your life. They did not have to do this. They did not have to give us this opportunity. But they did....and I am grateful to them for it.
I don't care if they get richer in the process. They deserve it! They gave us anAMAZING opportunity with some amazing products!
For people who think this is "cheesy". I think of them as being uneducated about our products and our company. Our job as consultants is to educate these exact kind of people about what this company is really about.
By the way, I brought my husband to a Seriesse Perpetual Success Team Training....and now he "Gets It!" Life is alot easier when your spouse is on the same page as you.
Sorry this post is so long!
P.S.
I must also say that the more I learn about our celebrity co-founders, the more respect and total admiration I have for them. In the brief moments I was in their presence, I was blown away by their warmth and generosity.
Editing to note: I hope this post does not come across as being angry in ANY way. This is just my heartfelt and honest opinion.
Thank you for reading it.

Hi Sunnygrl,
I also do makeup...I do not work in a salon but freelance doing wedding parties and things like that.
I do not find it being a problem at all with this company being owned by a celebrity couple, in fact, I think it's a great selling point. A great conversation piece when speaking with people and when people of that nature are representing a product you know it is reputable.
Just my thoughts.
